IPOD SOCKS - SKI SHOW : IDEA!!!

i plan on making ipod socks, a whole bunch of them for the ski show. all different colors, and sizes to fit ipod videos and nanos. My idea is to sell them, 5$ each, or 5 for 20$.. something like that. I would have them all in a bag and your entitled to how ever many you want. Do you think that this would work? i could tell people etc at the show.. but do you think it would work? here are some pics

that looks like a really sweet idea. good because ipods tend to freeze in the winter too.

get some more practice on the crocheting first though.
 
thats the idea. its crochetted with a 10mm hook tightly, with double sting yarn for warmth and durability.. and draw strings to keep the ipod in the case. this was my first one i made to see if it would turn out.
 
Im with tim, hone your crocthing a little more to give a more professional looks...and since the yarn streches (im pretty sure) make them a little small so they fit snug.

And give me one for all this advice!

yeh i think that this is a possibility as well...because the businesses pay big bucks for the booths...they wont take kindly to someone making profit without them getting something in return.

b. pictures give no justice.. ive made 4 now.. and everyone thats bought one has been super pumped.. read the reply before yours. they are diff sellable quality. I just gave mine to my neighbour..:

All i want to know is do you guys think the idea will work? put aside how well you think it looks, do you think if i have a bag ful at the ski show i will be able to sell them?

Get a trenchcoat, and line the inside with the podsocks.

Then you can walk up to people, open the coat and say "Hey, wanna buy a podsock?"

like in the cartoons with the watches...
 
hahahah doug thats jokes. it would work tho i think haha. "hey wanna buy an ipod case?" maybe, what colors do you have?" "(open the jacket) all of these" hahha

I'd like a cocksock though. Dimensions? 12inches long. 4 inches in diameter.

you know what would be nicer if you actually looked at it. THere crochetted tighter then a tight 6 mm .. like even when you stretch it there is no gaps/holes or anything.. you would think by looking at it that it was done on like a 5 mm hook
 
You should be a salesman. You would be very successful, you fucking dicktree.

People are trying to help you. In all honesty, your ipod socks suck, and ill personally suck your left nut if you sell even 1 at the ski show.

and you better get sucking man. i dont understand why you have always hated me, since day 1. you have never had much at all positive to say about anything.
