Ipod Shuffle

I was checkin this out at futureshop today and it was about 130$, 1GB, looked pretty simple. But the only problem with that shit is that i looks like it should cost about 10$, i was thinking of buying it but i want your opinions on it first.

i was thinking i might get one after i get paid... they look pretty decent they have a pretty decent storage space, you dont have to worry about breakinga harddrive, it wont shut off, and you dont need to buy batteries for it.

a mp3 player is less expensive and has a screan who wants to have to go through 70 songs to have to heard the one you want? They are over priced

 
they cost 300..so u only need like 200 more...or find 5 friends and do that free ipod deal thing...or you can be a dell jukebox which is cheaper or several other mp3's which are better than ipod shuffle

no Ipod mini is 250$ with 4GB and ipod shuffle is 130$ with 1GB

i got a shuffle to ski with because i didint wanna fall on my 40g and break it that would suck, its amazing for skiing, id go check them out because they look so much smaller in person that in the commercials, but ive had no problem with them and the battery life last forever its sick,

better to wrap yourself in the constitution and burn the flag, than wrap yourself in the flag and burn the constitution

idk...if you were really considering an iPod shuffle...they did just lower the prices of a 4gig mini iPod to 200$...so spend the extra 100$ and get 3 more gigs of music?

the shuffle is alright. i know a few people who have one and they just seem to get a little annoyed from time to time because you can choose what you want. other than that it seems alright. good for skiing.

its worth the money if you want durability... that is if your talkinga bout the iPod shuffle... that thing seems like its indestructible... wel not completely industructible, but can probibly go through more abuse than a regular iPod

i dunno...it may be pretty strong...but i've dropped my ipod many a time and it never has had any problems.

i think I could drop the ipod shuffle off my roof onto concrete and it wouldnt break because its super light and small... i dont have one i just looked at one at future shop

if your thinkin of getting a shuffle look at the RIO S30S its like 45$ but it only has 64 mb of space but you can get a 512mb card fro real cheap (i go got one for abour 40$) and this mp3 player actually has a screen

I am going to live forever or die trying
 
o i have an 128 mb mp3 and a minidisc i just want something i can put all of my music on at once and not have to worry about deleting shit so i can put more on

Get something with a screen, it will make you feel happier. Don't get the shuffle just because of the iPod name. Or just make your own music when you ski.

 
if you dont wanna spend money, i think the mini ipod is the way to go. for 100 dollars more, you can a screen, lots more space, and something that isnt a gay little strip of plastic. It's worth the investment in the long run, because i honesly dont think youd be happy with a shuffel..

yeaaa my mp3 uses AAA batteries too i hate those little fucks... thats why my minidisc rocks out with its... socks out cause it lasts for 36 hours until you have to recharge it again

the shuffle is pretty cool, but very stripped down. The biggest bonus is that you get to use itunes to manage your music. No other player software comes even remotely close to it.

i sell 1gb shuffles for 189CDN+tax

I think i'm getting a Creative Zen Micro. Looks sick. As for the shuffle, I wouldn't get it.

my mom got a shuffle and i take it skiing and its really cool. its just for making a playlist so u shouldnt worry about searching around for a song, thats not really what its for, just put a bunch of good shit on there and ski. also, atleast with my moms. she got the 512mb and it cost $100 but if she wants a real ipod she can trade that one in and they'll give her $100 towards the full size ipod. its a pretty good deal if u just want something to ski to.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...
