Ipod question... help quick!

ok so im at my friends house and i want some songs he has.... and i have my ipod with me. Mine is formatted for mac osx and this comp is running xp. What are the steps i need to take to do this? Will i lose everthing i have on my ipod? ( i keep alll my videos on my ipod and its not backed up)

step 1. have your friend burn a CD with the songs you want.

step 2. take the CD to your house and upload them onto your computer, then onto your iPod

step 3. Stop being such a boob.

Once again, this is why iPods suck. Get something that works as a mass storage device and there's zero hassle.

or get the names of all the songs go home and get them on limewire!

fyi

copy and paste the playlist dont type or write all of it!!

with gas prices so expensive and mexicans so cheap i think i am going to start riding a mexican to work!
 
Wipe your iPod at your house (I assume you have all your songs saved on your cpu).

Take the blank ipod over to your friends and plug it in. Make sure his cpu is set up to allow the ipod to be used as an external hard drive.

The ipod should show up as a new drive. If itunes asks to format the ipod or anything say no.

Transfer the songs like you would any other file (not in itunes). You won't be able to listen to them on the ipod right away.

Take the ipod home and reverse the process, add the songs to itunes (once they are on your cpu) and wipe and reload the ipod.

All ipods are formatted with the Fat32 (windows) file system because macOS can read it.

you can just drag and drop any file onto an ipod. Or atleast you can on a mac. I'm not sure about pcs
