ipod or dell jukebox?

im gonna get an mp3 player, but i am debating between the ipod (15 GIG) and the dell jukebox dj20. which would you want and why?

The moral of the story is, bullshit may get you to the top, but it wont keep you there.

 
i also heard that it is easier to navigate through it (the menus and stuff). also, i was playing on my friends and it has a few games (arkanoid and a fiew others).

i got a creative nomad last year that i love. its bsically the same thing as an ipod and a little cheaper

get the ipod. with the dell you have to use MusicMatch jukebox as the program interface to transfer mp3s. and musicmatch sucks.

the ipod is the best mp3 jukebox on the market by far!! but if really need more storage and can't aford the 40gb version, I would go with the nomad zen.

 
my ipod just fuckin broke on me... everytime i plug it in it freezes itunes then crashes my computer, gives me some shit in itunes about 'ipod unreadable' then windows says theirs a physical error and it starts fuckin up....

4d turn youre computer off, plug youre ipod in, restart (turn on) youre computer, then start up itunes...see if that works, i had the same problem once

same size as the ipod and 20gb for less than the 15 gb ipod. has about 16 hr battery life too. can record directly into the unit and has a radio. also has optical in and out and a sweeeet remote with lcd on it. this thing is so much sicker than the ipod.

 
if i were you i would go with the dell jukebox. i was reading in rolling stone that an I-Pod only costs $150 to make and the normal life span is 15 months. that's bullshit if you are planning on forking over $300-$400 on one. plus i've always had good luck with dell. let me know what you chose and how it goes!

i think im going with the dell. i am because the battery on the iPod sucks, i can get the 20 gig dell for cheaper than the 15 gig iPod, and i wanna try to spend as little as possible on this, and i wanna take it skiing with me, but the ipod looks and fels a bit flimsy and the dell seems very sturdy.

 
^ Hahahahahahaha. Your joking right? iPod. Flimsy? No way, the iPod is the most indestructible hard drive based mp3 player out there. They are rock solid, have the best user interface, great software and fast transfer speeds. The Battery problem is easily avoidable if you have any shred of intelligence in you, check out http://www.ipodbatteryfaq.com/#1 and it gives you many tips on how to avoid the battery degrading problem that happens with all LiIon batteries, as well as that in the iRivers and Dells. Poeople that are opposed to Apple love to beat this to death, I'm sorry, but get your facts straight.
