IPod Nano Vs. iPod Video

iPod video probably because of the fact that it can play videos, it has more space, and it is small enough anyways.
 
the video is a much much better value considering cost, storage, video, etc..

but if you really want it to be small nano will work
 
20 gig..2 hours of battery life with a video is not worth it. nano is too small and queer..20 gig is the way unless you need more space then get a 30 or 40 gig
 
i got the nano and i love it if i had the choice again i would still get the nano its great just ask yourself what you want it for then make your decision, having the nano makes carying it around litterally feel like there is nuthing there.
 
well i had a reply all typed out about why the nano rocks.. then i didn't see the reply button and had to refresh, forgot to copy.. so anways get the nano.
 
for that video ipod thinger, don't you need to subscribe to podcast or something and pay for individual videos?
 
just look through a lost and found bin...for sure you can find some sort of ipod in there. they are way too popular now and i would never get it. i have nothing against them, just personal preference.
 
video by far. it is only $50 more and you get 25 more gig. the new ipod is a lot smallet than the last one too.

i have a shuffle cause no one needs that much music...like serisuly...if you listen to all that befor you update your ipod again ...il be very proud
 
does anyone know if you will be able to load movies you already own (like dvd's) onto your computer and then onto the ipod video?

oh and the video is MINE when it comes out
 
yeah you can put your own videos on (even DVDs), but not with apples software. For mac i got handbrake to encode mpeg4 and H.264, heres a couple good links

i dont care much for the video in the new iPods, but the 20 hrs battery and the really thinness makes them a pretty sick deal for sure... and i have a nano (i got it for free a month ago, wish i had waited and picked the new iPod)
 
^ so if i put say like Pop Yer Bottelz or any other dvd onto my computer and download that program to rip it onto my comp, i can put it onto my itunes then onto the ipod video? will that work, cuz if not no real point in gettin the ipod video
 
yes you can take any video and encode it into MPEG-4 and then send ti to your ipod. I dont believe apple is supporting this yet so it has to be done with external software and not itunes. but apple says they will soon enable that feture
 
one of my friends got an ipod video yesterday. he didnt have any videos on it because he just got it last night, but i was messing around with it and the screen is alot bigger than the old ipods, and it is very slim. i like it alot, but the click whell looks knd of small on it compared to the old ones. i say video.
 
wat kind of external software..... can someone please explain the stuff i have to do before i get the ipod and stuff with somethign that i dont want that i havve to buy crappy videos of itunes
 
the new video ones are dope my buddy just got a 30 gig. bigger screen than the old ones and much thinner. video quality is good but you have to either pay for quicktime pro to convert vids or find another converter online and get a crack for it. it is very sweet though.

and yeah you can pay for the apple videos but theyre a few bucks each and who wants that. get quicktime pro or something and convert all the shit u download.
 
oh so u gotta get quicktime pro to do that shit. how much is quicktime pro and is it like monthly or yearly? and are there any other free things besides quicktime
 
pro is 30 bucks forever, not yearly or monthy. my friend got a trial of some other converter and cracked it so he had the full version for free but im not sure what program.

and the 30 gig videos are $300 and the 60 gigs are $400
 
ya the nano screen is 1.5 inches the video has a 2.5 inch screen for some banging porno on the plane flight. just whip it out and jerk to portable porn
 
get an mp3 thats not ipod so its not as expensive its all teh same anyways and most people just get them casue hteir the "cool thing" but it would be ncie to have one
