holy shit, apple, may have relesed a new product that is actually a large improovment, (as opposed to the ipod updates in the past)

its thinner then a #2 pencil. you can get 2 gigs or 4 gigs.

it actually looks pretty amazing, and its not as expansive as i thought.... the 2GB one is the same price as a mini.. and the 4GB which holds 1,000 songs is $250... they also come in black

its to replace the mini, which is a little strange because of the 6gig version of the mini. maybe they will come out with a 6 or better yet 8 gig version of the nano. I wounder if it uses flash or a hdd.

It actually makes perfect sense to have the headphone jack in the bottom...say the Ipod is in your pocket, it is almost always facing downward because you need to look at it that way in order to select a song or whatever...this way, you dont have to turn around your ipod before putting it back in your pocket...looks like a pretty sick ass design, especially once the prices go down eventually and they start making them with larger harddrives

they do have 10,20,40 and 60gb version of the ipod. all the new ipods are ipod "photos," they are standard. the older ipods came in 10, 20, and 40 but they were big and fat and b/w screens. also whats the point of making a 10gb nano if they have a 10gb ipod?

 
its too small i'd break it. i think when the really spoiled kids are selling their old "insufficient" 20 gig ipods for this, ill buy them for like 50 bucks off of them. anything a step up from my dark green upgraded to 512 rio cali with a small line sticker on the back.

yes, that can display pictures and it doesnt have a usb port built in and it has more memory, so no. Apple needs to make the nano with upgradeable memory like every other solid state memory player that way when the 10 gig nano comes out i won't have to buy a whole new player
