Hey, I just got an IPOD and when I went to install the software it said it only worked for 2000 and xp.. Does anyone know of a way to get around this or anything?

This sucks.

 
what happened to your post count? did you have it reset, or did it get fucked up?

well, its the operating system you are running, you need to have windows 2000 or xp to run i tunes, i dont know but you may want to check the apple web site to see if there is a patch to fix it. if not, youll proaly have to upgrade to window xp. anything else?

if you want i could get you a copy of windows XP Professional, for a price, but it's not a cracked peice of crap, that some little child did in his basement, its a image that computer stores use... it's completely legal tho.

if you dont upgrade look for a program called xplay on google, its an independent company program for ipod that i think will work on 98, 98SE, and ME.

O geez you need to upgrade right away. Me is horrible, Just get a cracked copy of XP from someone in school, or friend.

 
dont you have to erase your harddrive befor you can load a new OS?

I use Xplay and its pretty cool. I think its like 30 bux.
