IPod help

So I woke up this morning and the bottom half of my touchscreen doesn't work and I don't even know why, it was working fine last night. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? Has this happened to anyone else? My ipod has a crack in it but always functioned without problem.

plug it in, restore factory settings, put songs back on.

if it doesn't work just take it to the apple store, bring a reciept, if you bought it recently theyll pretty much just replace it with another one

K now its like 3 quarters of the screen. I think im just gunna have to get a new one because its basically useless.

You'll probably need to get a new one. Since it's cracked, the warranty won't cover it.
