Ipod help?

i looked throught the search bar. i took my ipod up to the mountain, used the itrip, got back sunday. left it in the car over the week. last night (friday) i brought it in so i could charge it. but now it wont turn on. like, i plugged it into the wall, the docking station, and the computer, and i dont even get the black apple logo. help?
 
mine has froze before. just let it warm up for a while, and maybe charge it, because a lot of the time they say they are dead if they froze.
 
you should jsut let it warm up becasue since it has moving parts they can freeze...but if you have one of the original oldschool ipod they cna't really freeze in the cold becasue they have no moving parts
 
ya the new video's have real hard drives and if they get too cold they get sketchy. let it warm up and take it easy with it. i use my itrip all the time but i always remember to bring it back in the house when i get home
 
ok, i plugged it into my comp over the weekend when i was at my cabin, and great news! just kidding, this sucks it still wont turn on.
 
turn the hold switch on then off and hold the menu button and the middle circle button down simultaneously...hopefully it will reset it or somethin, if not...you might have a battery problem. Your ipod itself is probably fine tho, i put mine in the freezer every once in a while because it is really fucked up and the hard drive freezes all the time but when I put it in the freezer it kinda resets it for whatever reason. So ya, the cold isnt really bad for the ipod itself.
 
oh man i feel your pain. mine died during hour 4 of the 10 hours to vermont this weekend with my mom. so 16 hours of my mom's music. i took it to the genius bar... they said it was dead. im out of luck and music. fuck
 
you should obviously put it in the microwave/toaster/oven to warm it up again

and if you actually are retarded enough to do it, im not liable.
