Ipod help

alright... i just got a 8gb ipod nano, connected it to my computer via usb port, and computer froze. i restarted the computer and now it wont recognize the ipod and th ipod has now froze at the screen that says- "do not disconect" ive tried reseting it or whatever and its still frozen and my computer still wont recognize it.

What shall I do?
 
Do a soft reset of your ipod....hold the middle button and the menu key at the top of the touch pad. Hold it for a few seconds and it will reset itself...
