IPOD HELP

ok so today was my first day with music on my ipod and i was skiing...anyways i get home..and when i go and choose a song it wont play that song. itll skip to the next one. sometimes itll freeze and illl have to reset it. Then i go and plug it into my comp and its telling me that Itunes cant recognize it...what the fuck is going on.

My itunes restarts my computer everytime I turn it on...now that sucks dick.

some of my songs do that aswell... i think it may have to do with a license on the song.. im not sure though...

as far as itunes not seeing your ipod... try holding down the buttons until it restarts (it will show the apple logo and reboot) then try reconnecting it to your computer. my ipod did that last week.... soo annoying

 
when my ipod was skipping songs and freezing a few days later the hard drive crashed, then you gotta send it in and go ipodless for a few weeks. it blows

 
^but then you lose all your songs.

so, i dont recommend that, unless you have them all backed up on your computer.

yeah i have em all backed up..its just i bought this ipod off a friend and all this crap so it would be way easier to not have to send it in...and yeah i tried the ipod updater but it just kind sits there and says "initializing"

my touch pad thing too scroll thoght the songs and everything stopped working yesterday, i cant ecen re format it

 
If it appears to be frozen, like if you can't get it off a certain screen, you've gotta wait until the battery runs out. It might automatically turn off if you're not pressing anything, so you've gotta keep pressing buttons. It should work once it is charged again

 
same shit happend to me, i brought it into the apple store and they just gave me a brand new one. look into that

 
my itunes library just delets itself on my computer. i just did the entire thing in these past days, soo boring. anybody have this problem yet?

after all the MY IPOD is DEAD threads why are they still the best thing going? I'd never buy something after seeing hundreds of people have every possible problem

more people have then then anything else. so of corse more people are going to have problems with them. Im not saying they are the best, because apple better get on their feet if they want to stay ahead of the compitition, but my point is still a valid one.
