IPod = External hardrive?

Anyone know how to make iPods so they can transfer files, not just play them?

yes, just make a folder in the ipod disk image and drag stuff in there. Its not that hard on a mac.

i got a 300gb external hard drive on ebay for 80 bucks. and they go for a little more than that in stores.

i bought mine used for cheap thinking that i could use it as an ipod but its battery sucks so im using it as an external

i like my shuffle a lot, it only plays songs that i like.

download a program called ephpod. it's free and takes music off of your ipod unlike itunes which deletes everything. works like a charm.

make your ipod to be a hard disk so it can have files in it and stuff

yes you can. i use it to back up files at school all the time.

ok heres how you do it.

go to the iPod preferences. There should be a little check box labeld "Enable Disk Use" click it. It now will show up as an extra drive on your computer. You will need to eject it every time you unplug it though.
