ipod: change your front and graphics

get all the info/graphics and fonts you need here.

also:

the ipods firmware can be updated without restoring the entire ipod, before running the updater follow these steps:

go on your ipod to ipod_control>device>sysinfo

and open the file in wordpad.

find this line of code:

buildID: 0x03028000 (3.0.2)

visibleBuildID: 0x03028000 (3.0.2)

Change a number with a lower number

buildID: 0x03018000 (3.0.1)

visibleBuildID: 0x03018000 (3.0.1)

Now the updater will think you have firmware version 3.0.1 and will let you update without restoring the entire thing.

uhh, its not too hard to fix. you jsut make a backup of your update

the worst thing that could really happen (unless your messing alot with the strings, which takes along time and is not worth it anyways) is that you load a forn on there that you cant read. then all you do is go to your backup of your update and update your ipod back to normal! the only think is that if you brake your ipod in a way that you cnat hook it back up to your computer your warrenty will be void.

theres this thing called ipodmod.com and you send in your ipod and they can change the exterior color, the backlight color to anything you want, i dont know how much it costs, but my friend told me it was tight

 
is $30 for the backlight change from them. they dont currently have the color front plate change avalible for some reason.
