IPhone4 or ANDROID?

So im about to turn 17 and im looking for a new phone and i want either an iPhone 4 or an Android but idk which is better. I heard Android is pimp but the battery life sucks. Whats the situation? Or any other ideas for something i should ask for?
 
there are a lot of Android phones out there, some of them have excellent battery life. Which ones were you looking at specifically?
 
This can he a big factor if you have a Mac on osx. It adds so much more ability to the iPhone especially with icloud coming out. I love my iPhone and had a stood incredible they are both awesome phones it all depends on what is you like better. And if you want a qwerty then you have to go droid. The biggest thing about a droid is that they are to good for their battery. If you use your phone heavily. Like non stop music and browsing then I would stay away dro
 
Sorry. Mobile. Away from depose. Especially with a 4" screen that chews up a ton. But if you do get one make sure you download the battery saving app
 
So basically - if you have a mac, get an iPhone. If you don't try both, see what you like. But don't buy SHIT until the iPhone 5 or 4s or whatever comes out.
 
Yeah, wait for the new iphone. If you're not one of those people who KNOWS they want to go android, you'll much prefer the iphone (or be kicking yourself if you went android instead).
 
having a mac should not influence your decision in the least. get the iphone and dont use icloud it is retarted

I thought I was going to get an iPhone, hated Android.... then I got one, and rooted it, and now I prefer it over the iPhone. Apple makes everything really easy, but if you want to be able to fuck around with your phone, and change the OS and customize WAY more things, get Android.
 
Not true^. Jail breaking allows you do to crazy things also get free apps if your into that. And who ever said icloud is retarded is dumb. Have you used it? If not please don't place your judgment upon it
 
I'm talking about flashing completely different versions of android. You can't do that to an Iphone
 
i have the motorola photon. sick phone. fast. battery life is great unless you're on the phone alllll day.

 
i got the droid x2 and its pretty dope, it has a massve screen which is nice and so far my battery life has been pretty good. another point is that droids have external memory, so you can get a big ass chip to hold alot of stuff, compared to an iphone where the max is 32g
 
statements like this piss me off. it still isnt faster than wifi and it destroys your battery. maybe im spoiled because i have wifi everywhere but seriously the fastest phone on verizon 4g lte still isnt as fast on my iphone on wifi. many prolly wont understand my point but idk 4g is stupid and the next iphone wont have it either so dont hold out on that....
 
If you want an iPhone, wait for the iPhone 5, even if you want the iphone 4, waiting will slash the price. Android phones are just as good (if not better) than iPhones.

Says who? No one has said jack shit about when its coming out. It's all speculation. For all you know apple could be making a jitterbug like phone
 
Is this directed at me? and im going for iPhone 5 october 21st its not a set date yet but thats what alot of tech websites are talking about
 
It wont be the 21st. That is a Friday. Apple always releases early in the week. Te last 5 iPhone launches were on a Tuesday It is speculated that the keynote will be first week in October but now that jobs is gone maybe they will just update their website and start selling no one really knows with apple. There could not he a new phone at all
 
Rumors are pointing to the 7th, but either way it should be out some time in october. Sprint is also getting it, so if you don't have unlimited data already, they might be a good choice if they have service in your area
 
This the 7th is much more likely. And if sprit gets it but who knows it's apple sprint could get it later like they did with Verizon. And what websites are saying the 27 and who is their source
 
google iphone 5 release date and feast your eyes on the number 21. Even though the seventh would make me way more happy
 
again sources, i would trust people like the wallstreet journal or 9 to 5 mac they have been right many times in the past and i beleave use the same guy
 
Get the droid charge. 4G, both front and back facing cameras, extremely fast and has the longest droid battery life. I own one and i can use it heavily all day and only plug it in before i go to bed. It doesnt die mid day on me.
