so i have the shitty android lg ally phone and i have an upgrade !!! thinking about the iPhone 4-16 GB. anyone know how good or bad this phone is??? ive heard good things...am i right?
 
i has one and its sick, you can probably get a regular iphone 4 for pretty cheap at the moment because the 4s and 5 are coming out, but i like my iphone, and when ios5 comes out there is no argument to get a blackberry instead

 
I have one and at first I didn't know what to think either. All though, after a bit of use (and alot of dropping) the Iphone has proved itself to me as superior over all other competitors. It is consistently fast, responsive, and very simplistic to use. I would highly recommend it.
 
That's exactly the phone I have, I love it. I don't know why you have to ask for reviews for an iPhone haha
 
its kinda bulky i wouldn't get it. the touch screen is hard to use. the operating system is slow. the phone overall is just junk.
 
well, im just contemplating on either the Droid X3 or iPhone...i feel like iPhone will win the battle though. Hows the touch screen texting on the iPhone?
 
#1 in consumer ratings. Right now is a really bad time to buy an iphone though. The new iphone 4s or iphone 5 whichever it will be will be released within the next month and a half. If you can hold out, the original iphone 4 will be cheaper after the release of the new model. But the new model will sell at a decent price with a two year contract.
 
the texting takes a little while to get used to for sure. But now, I dont even have to look at the keyboard I just watch the text box to make sure I dont make spelling errors. You'll get the hang of it.
 
switching from my droid incredible to the IPHONE 4 was the worst decision of my life. i dont like apple products. IMO dont do it but thats all up to the user.
 
I am on an iPhone right now and now that I think about it I don't even have to look at the keyboard either haha texting is duper fast if you use the up right thing not the huge keyboard the sideways one is too big IMO . The iPhone is killer I love this thing. The user input it so sexual

Cause you will pay full price and a new iphone is coming out in the next month or so. In which case, there will likely be a cheaper 4s or you may be able to get the iphone 5 at the same price as you would pay for the iphone 4.

Or just get an android. I hate mine enough that I switched back to my original Iphone hacked onto tmobile. My original Iphone works better on Tmobile than my android. Very sad.
 
I like mine, wont get a droid, ever, I think. But DO NOT get a new iPhone right now. Wait a month, and then the new one is out, you'll get the iPhone 4 cheaper and get started with iOS 5 and everything right away.
 
wait a month until the iphone 5 comes out first. then go into verizon and try/play with their best android phone(s) and the iphone5 or 4. the reason you hate android is cuz you bought a free(atleast now it is) andoid phone. if you compare that to an iphone you're obviously going to go iphone. the ally is a pos. so like I said try out the top 2 android phones vs the iphones then decide.

on another note (not sure if this matters for you) iphones use a lot more data than androids. so with verizons new pricing on data, you're probably going to need more than 2gb with the iphones, but not necessarily androids, which makes it more expensive monthly.
 
I'm not a fan of using the phone sideways either. I'll use it sometimes if I'm browsing and I'm looking at something small, or while I'm playing a game.

I've had mine for about a month. Should I have looked into a different phone? Maybe. Do I really care about how fast my phone is on a 3G network? No. Do I care if I can run multiple applications on it? No.

I like it because I can text, call and check my email on it. It's a pretty easy phone to use. That's what I like about it.

There are people out there that want everything on their phone, I'm not one of those guys though.
 
the texting is fine as you trust that it will type what you want, like if you try to compensate for where you think it will think you type it will make typos but if you just trust it you never go wrong
 
so the conclusion came to.....an iphone !! and i love it. yes it was alot of money but since i am a total apple/mac person i had to go with the iphone 4. LOVE IT !!!

if you uy an iphone now you are an idiot. Rumors are pointing to an october 7th launch of the next gen iphone, we should have an official announcement from apple in the next few weeks.
 
haha she already bought it. Gonna be real depressed in 2-3 weeks when she sees the one she bought go down in price by 1-2 hundred dollars.
 
NO ! like i said, my android phone was completly shot. nothing but a black screen when it was on...and with my update the iphone was only $200. and i can afford so im not worried about whats gunna happen in 2-3 weeks
