So I've been wanting an iphone for the longest time and my contract is almost up. I wanted to know if it is really worth it to switch to At&t to get it. I live in Iowa it that helps the whole service question because the only thing I have heard about at&t is that it is GOD AWFUL! But I was looking for some feedback on here. Thanks for the help!!!!
Also, does anyone have CONFIRMATION that the iphone will be with both verizon and sprint before the end of this year? Or is that just completely a rumor???
 
rumors are true bro..i wanted a iphone too but i didnt feel like paying 100$ a month for a phone bill. and the phone breaks so much its a waste
 
I switched over to get the iphone last year and the iphone was great, but i switched back after a couple of weeks because verizon offered me a free blackberry storm(this was when it was new) if I switched back. The iphone was much better, but so much more expensive so I went back to verizon for a free blackberry.
At&t was fine for me, so yea do it. Who knows maybe you'll get a free phone from verizon if you do it.
 
i just got an i-phone like 2 months ago and have been an at&t customer for years. love the i-phone. and if you have a mac its great.

as for the service....eh. it used to be great like 5 years ago then it got really shitty. it has since improved somewhat. Verizon is hands down the best service so if you can wait till they offer it your probably better off.
 
I have at&t and the service is pretty good besides in the adirondacks, but 3 people in my immediate family have iphones and they love theirs. Hope this helps

I have an iphone and at&t and i love both. Had it for almost a year and at&t has service everywhere where i live (BFE) highly recommended.
 
iPhone 4G is supposed to come out this Summer (May-June). You could wait to get the 4G but I don't know if the US has much 4G coverage (3G seems pretty patchy at best when I head stateside). Or you could get the 3Gs after the 4G comes out when it will probably become a lot cheaper.
 
Absolutely no complaints about the iPhone or AT&T. The service is fine as near as I can tell. If you have macs, there really is no reason to have a smart phone that isn't the iPhone. Youre going to be paying about the same for a contract either way.
 
Well I have had the 3G since the first day. If you can wait until the summer you should because they will most likely be coming out with a new one, there are only a handful of rumors thus far.
While the bill is a little expensive it is an amazing phone, it can do so much no matter what anyone says.Also I have had no problem with the AT&T service but check your area.
 
i've had my iphone for a over a year and a half and it's still not broken. just get a good case for it. I have an otterbox, most durable iphone case and it's sooo worth it.

Thats why you buy the iphone unlocked. Way more expensive upfront but in the long run, saves you a ton of $.
 
haha I'm being serious I know its shitty but if its good in Iowa I'm sold, I'm hoping it comes to verizon before I have to go to at&t though
