IPhone to Verizon in January

you apparently dont read many tech blogs

yes, apple and at&t's contract is up next year(when next year we dont know, around summer is what is speculated), so the iphone can't be on verizon until then. Also, verizon is currently working on their new network interface(called LTE, think a 4g network, but faster), and so is at&t, the nice thing about this, is that manufacturers wont have to make cdma and gsm phones anymore, just an lte phone. If you look at apple's product cycle new iphones are released every june, so that would be the time they would release a new lte iphone, which would work on both networks.

people have been claiming that verizon will get the iphone ever since it came out, but most of you dont seem to look at the facts
 
That was the total of iphone 4s sold in the first 3 days after the release.

this is false, i know someone who works for verizon and i was told that google will not allow it without pulling all droid products from the line
 
You mom doesn't know shit dude, sorry. Unless shes fucking steve jobs on the side or is the CFO or something, she wont know and if she did know and was that powerful she definitely wouldnt tell her 15 year old whos on the internet all day about it.
 
then why are there android products on at&t. not to mention, there are no google branded phones on verizon. htc/motorola/ect licensee the use of android from google, similar to windows mobile. Then the manufactures approach the carriers to use their phones. google has no say in it at all. and even if that was in any way true, verizon im sure would still take the iphone, as it has the second largest market share(beat by blackberries) and its only on 1 carrier
 
she runs the worldwide online store, and she does know shit. She's had to figure out how to sell the phone online while working with at & t and verizon's service. so fuck off
 
Again, if she was actually powerful enough to know (and being the runner of an online store? please, i could run an online store) she wouldnt tell her kid whos on the internet all the time about it, that kinda shit is kept behind closed doors, doors your mom has never been through.
 
and if she would some how get through those doors, there would be a HUGE confidentiality agreement waiting for her

Well the truth is clear, she's lying to you and verizon is gonna have the iphone soon, because no one that powerful would tell their kid about that kind of confidential information.
 
whatever the new motorola ones are are strictly verizon, those are the ones google is refering too
 
There is only speculation that verizon will get the iphone in 2010. NO ONE knows that for sure, just because AT&Ts contract with them ends does not mean anything at all actually, and i bet that his mom knows more about this shit then some fatass that sits on NS all day.
 
According to my Aunt who is not CEO by any means but kinda high in the Verizon chain(She runs everything with Nike) i was told that the iphone was planned to come out this summer when AT&T's contract is up. But, China Mobile(the biggest carrier in China) which is much larger than Verizon, has higher priority over Verizon. They have more carriers and apparently Apple is possibly going with China Mobile before Verizon. I am not positive on all these facts but two weeks ago when she was here she told me about this that she had heard at her previous conference the week before.

So to me it looks like Verizon is a long way out from having the Iphone.

i've been waiting for a while now but i refuse to switch to gayt&t in order to get an iphone because it sucks
 
my friend's brother works for apple and the only thing he can get his family for free are tons of the shirts that all the faggots in apple stores wear
 
Seattle times had a article in the paper today, saying that the iphone will go to verizon starting january.

But it could be total bs, so idk.

Either way though, i dont care. I already have at&t.
