IPhone Release Date

So there was an official AT&T e-mail leaked regarding the release date of the iPhone. It will start being sold June 29th. Way to take advantage of saying "it will be released sometime in June." So who's getting one?

I'm planning on getting an 8gb because I need a new phone (my razr is 2 years old and beat) and I don't have an ipod. I figure a new smart phone costs 250-ish and 250 for an 8gb nano. So for an extra 100 dollars I'll have a phone and ipod in one (pain in the ass to carry around 2 things) along with the new touch screen, the new voicemail menu, mobile internet, and a kickass phone.
 
Yeah your numbers are a little off, but if i had the money and the need i would do it for sure.
 
I would never get one, because I would lose it or some shit, but if I was gonna get it, I'd wait for like a year. I bet the first one is gonna have so much shit wrong with it. And, all that is going to happen is that it is going to get cheaper and the bugs are going to get fixed. I'd wait.
 
alright, i'll admit it was very general and it comes with an exception for their computers which i have yet to get a virus for. But i'm referring to the apple ipod, especially the newer gen ones which don't seem to last for more than 8 months at a time. I'm on my 3rd ipod (warranty is pretty agreable..) which only chokes me because i've lost my music and had to go through the pain of recovering it 2 times.
 
im with you man i bet you apple knows what they are gonna put out 3 years from now. Wait like another 6 months and there will be something better for a lower price
 
I really want one, problem is I dont think Im going to be on a Cingular network...yea they are expensive, but damn they are just the shit. Apple has really good customer service so if you buy one and get some kind of warranty, you can prob always get a new one if needed for free.
 
ive never owned anything apple or mac that has broken becuase of them. ifits been fucked up its my fault. they make the illest shit
