hey ns, this girl i know got sold, which now appears to be, a stolen iphone 4s. these things apparently can be reported stolen and identified? is there any way to crack this bitch and jailbrake it, and whatever needs to be done so she can use it and not get in shit about it?
 
so if they didnt sign up for the tracking, it cant be tracked?and then it can be activated safely, somehow cracked?
 
maybe just jailbreaking it would be the best way, fak. but ya takes time as a mother fucka i heard. anyone got a site with a step by step jailbreaking process? +k (if anyone even cares about karma) to whoever helps
 
restore the phone. the tracking is on this app called "find my iphone" and if you delete or disable or even just log out. you should be good. obviously change the sim card. you should be golden. also the iphone was probably stolen from some highschool bitch so they wont do jack shit about it. dont worry and enjoy
 
just plug it into a computer and do a factory reset, unless the dude wants it back. then you could have it programmed no problem
 
playing devils advocate, as being someone who's had an iphone and macbook go missing. apple cannot do anything about a phone or computer thats been reported stolen, even if the person brings it into the genius bar.
 
As in, apple can't do anything even if it's marked as stolen of missing in their system. They just give you the same service they give anybody else. Can't be recovered once lost unless the previous owner had something like LoJack installed prior to the theft
 
posting about being in possession of stolen property is probably not a very wise move and i would suggest contacting the person who she bought it from and getting her money back. my sisters phone got stolen and someone sold it and my parents tracked it down and the kids got arrested the ones who stole it and bought it. just get the money back and give the phone back before the cops get involved
 
It's so obvious that you are the one who "bought" the stolen phone. My theory is that you stole someones Iphone 4s and now you are trying to figure out if they can track you or not. You would also like to know if you will be able to use it and how to jailbreak it.
 
lol i dont care much to make you believe that i didnt steal anything, so this is the last time that im mentioning that im not involved. i am, on the other hand, trying to see if theres a way for her to keep it. bc, like i previously stated, its bought. and yes, she would rather keep it than attempt to try to get her money back from the seller. her carrier told her it was reported stolen once she attempted to get it to work for herself
 
haha I don't really care man. I'm just bored and I felt the need to come up with some conclusion. Good luck with the phone situation. Youtube how to jailbreak Im sure there's lots of tutorials on there.
