this is more of a feeler.

This iphone I starting using just after christmas. I have taken good care of it, there is only some minor scratches on the back of it. The screen has always been protected with a clear plastic cover. and I have ALWAYS had it in a case.

Looking for about $150

Without trying to be a complete noob, the 3G I phone is out now, and it's only like 50 dollars more as far as I know. On contract anyway, so you have that to consider. It's still a hella good deal considering there is no contract involved, but I want a 3g one!
 
You should sell that on ebay they are still going for $400+ on there its rediculous. Seriously you will make much more if you put it on there

even if that was correct... this one is 50 bones cheaper! that's 50 jr. bacon cheeseburgers w/out tomato.
 
Dude this is a sweet deal. 1. Because you dont have to open a new contract. 2. 3gigs is enough for a little music but not really enough for much else such as movies. 3. You are saving $50 and gaining 5 gigs of space which is a 166% increase in space and $50 in your pocket still. If I had AT&T Id buy this in a heartbeat
 
3G refers to how fast the internet is....not how much space it has. The new one has both an 8gig model and a 16gig model same as the old one.
 
touche (or however you spell that) I misheard an ad for it then. I thought its was just a smaller sized one. Well I was still mad at that kid for busting a thread like that and some free bumps for this dude for my mistake
 
3g is the cell phone technology it uses to get internets and everything, it makes web browsing on the phone faster. it's a completely different system than the other one and the gb will be the same, 3 gb would suck penis
can you take these somewhere and get them jailbroken? i have verizon
 
you can jailbreak them yourself with free apps you can download, but you cant use it for verizon. verizon's network is cdma while at&t is gsm, aka cingular uses a sim card and verizon doesnt. if you jailbreak it you could only use it on t mobile's network if you live in the U.S. and t mobile blows unless you live in a city like NYC
 
^^or, better yet, if they made the iphone for all different services, at&t sucks where i am but verizon works, so they could expand their users and make a lot more money if they opened it to everything

yeah that's how i am. verizon gets really good service and at&t doesn't. i'm pretty sure after a year they can go to whoever though? hopefully they will.
 
sorry to kill your hopes, but apple's contract with at&t is still in effect for another 4 years. in that time apple is prohibited from creating a cdma iphone, which is the network that verizon uses
 
Its called unlocking the phone to accecpt unicel, t-mobile and other gsm carriers(sim cards). i have seen someone try and unlock to to work with verizon but there are to many blocks in the system. at&t sucks as a carrier. sick deal on the phone. wanna trade it for a 16gb itouch, hacked w/case and invisible shield(zagg.com)
 
y would u need to jailbreak it?

my friend has his jailbroken and i have the new apps instead the apps are alot better plus it does not void the warrenty.
