IPhone Cydia help

My cydia will open for a few seconds and then quit. it has been doing this since i installed winterboard, but the winterboard icon does not appear on my springboard. i have never ssh'd to my iPhone so i cant fix it that way.

i used redsn0w 0.9.4 to jailbreak and am on 3.1.3. i have an iPhone 2G

i tried to rej-ailbreak and when i did i checked "install cydia" and "already pwned", not sure what already pwned did for it.

its not too big of a deal if it cant be fixed, i just want winterboard. i already have installous so i think i dont need anything else from cydia

Happened to me a while ago too...

You can't SSH in unless you have installed certain components from cydia that allow you to ssh, so that is not an option.

When this happened to me I just restored the phone and then jailbroke it again and everything was fine. You should try using Spirit jailbreak (http://spiritjb.com/) it is extremely easy to use, literally just takes one click... although i just read that it doesn't work with itunes 9.2, but will work with any other version of itunes 9.
