idk about the rest of you, but i hate not being able to use ns very well on my ipod touch. do you guys think it would be sweet if i developed a mobile version of ns? and would any of you be willing to make a small donation so i could get funding for it?

it would be like facebook- the interface of facebook.com on your computer is much different than that of the facebook.com on your iphone. thats cause facebook has a mobilve version of their site as well.

thoughts?

bad idea. i think the iphones should jsut get better so that the internet is able to be viewed the way it should be. because if everyone jsut agrees to make a mobil ns then people will think thats acceptable and will remake the whole internet. its jsut a stupid concept. i think phones should one day have the capibilities to see the internet the way i do on my computer. another bad thing about that is we will in some way have to pay for it .... and im not paying for ns.

i think even better would be an ns app for 2.0. I wanna try coding some apps but I'm waiting for a pc version of the SDK. I'm sure if you made a good one you could get ns to back you and cover the costs of getting it on the app store

it must not be that hard to make applications for iphone and ipod touch cause there are a shit ton. and NS app that's free would be the shit.

I disagree, i dont think it will ever be easy to use a full size webpage on a 3 inch screen. Apple did a great job with safari on the iphone but it would be nice to be able to use it without zooming in and out and paning.

^and until we have 4G, 3G is just too slow to load entire web pages full of ads and high res images. Plus, have you ever used aps? they are sooo much nicer to use then web pages-- even if the hardware on smartphones was drastically improved, webpages were desgined to be used with a mouse and large monitor, whereas aps are designed to be used with your finger and 3.5 inch screen. Demand for Iphone developers is up 500% since June. Good time to apply for design school!

I still have no idea why apple wont realize a windows friendly SDK...

Either way though, there are plans to get a mobile version of NS working this season although I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

yup thats a sick idea. i actually made a thread on this awhile back but it wasnt very popular. i actually pmed mosseau and he said there prolly will be but not in teh near future.

In the works..but getting the product guide and resort guide online is ahead of the mobile site in terms of priorities right now.
