IPhone 7: What are they doing?

Still have no understanding why someone with a $700 phone they carry around daily which is known to break easy won't buy an otterbox/lifeproof/ or something of the sort. Have never broken an iphone once and have always had them in otterboxes. Both phones lasted me 3-4 years each
 
I hope you know those images are just concepts, and not the actual images of the phone. the Apple keynote is happening right now, so i'd hold off until the phone is actually released to see exactly what we should expect.

The iPhone SE was just released, which is the size of the iphone 5, but with the specs of the 6, 6s, etc, which looks pretty cool

JK, the keynote today is just for the iPad pro and iPhone SE. the 7 wont be announced until the next keynote i'm assuming

I've never broken an iPhone or even cracked a screen and I've been using them since the 3G without cases. That said, the 3G/4/and 5S I've owned seem a little less scary to throw in a bag than the new Samsung/Apple phones that are big and slim.

I've never broken an iPhone and have never had cases for them. Cases suck.
 
I wish they would have come out with the SE about a month ago, before I upgraded to the 6. I miss the size of my 5.

Life proof sucks . People can't hear you through the thing and I hated it . I still have a brand new 100$ one that I'll gladly sell to you for 40$ .
 
They are trying to get rid of something that has been around for years, it's on almost every smart phone and they are trying to be different, also Apple likes to make everything as thin as possible so this allows them to make their phones even thinner, this also may allow for duel speakers which would be a nice addition

Seriously. It's $250 cheaper than the 6S but has the same camera, same processor, and a retina screen.

What is the SE?! I love my iPhone 5 and have been holding out because I just love the shape and size of it instead of the thinness and roundness of the 6. I like the thin box feel of the 5
 
lol if this latest release isn't proof that apple is slowly going to shit then I don't know what is

also getting rid of the headphone jack? at this point it just feels like apple is trolling their customers..
 
I'm thinking about getting the iPhone SE which is the size of the 5s but has the power of the 6s/7. It's also pretty inexpensive so we'll see

Does your phone last 6 days on one charge which takes 30 minutes? Can you drop your phone repeatedly and not break it?

They are its iphone 5 sized. Its for people with small hands who dont like how big the iPhone 6 is. Its also probably a more affordable option like the iPhone 5c

Had one of these for like 4 and 1/2 years..I finally broke it slamming on my side straight on my phone leaving a phone shaped bruise and breaking one of the hinges to the screen but the speaker still worked. I still received calls on it screenless for a few days until I got another phone.
