Got an iphone 4s off my friend , but its locked to some carrier and i need to know how to unlock it , i can jailbreak it it dosent matter too me. Just could someone help me out here. Its a 4s and im with rogers if it helps.

Any good jailbreaks ? or unlocks?

Apple is a scam.

You could bring it into the store, and they will try to get as much money from you as possible - they are like car mechanics, they make up unnecessary shit just to get money from you when in all realness you can fix it yourself.

Take a normal, household, microwave and put it on "popcorn" mode - place the phone directly in the center and let the time go through.

It should now be unlocked.

you have to sign up with an email address, but you can just make a new one if that's a problem.

Just a heads up, unlocking phones without prior carrier permission is illegal now, so if your phone gets bricked by a carrier, dont be upset.
