so i already took off work since im going camping for the weekend, but not leaving till around 1ish

thinkin about headin over to apple store around 6am, think i'll be too late or what? def not bothering with flagship store in manhattan, stickin local in jersey but still think its gonna be a cluster fuck
 
just to get the inner nerd out of me, and the stores around here, the wii, the ps3, the last iphone, once it sells out it takes forever to come back just a pain in the ass

plus half the fun of having it is being the first, i wont lie im a mac fanboy haha
 
do something productive with your money. Im not trying to be an ass but im pretty sure you already have a phone. give some to charity or something.
 
my phone contract is up and my current phone, lg vx8500 or whatever number, well, im on number 4 because its a piece of shit, so why not

charity eh? been there, but im good for now. guess a forum like this was a bad idea since most kids make min wage and above lol, mad respect since ive been there but now i want a new toy for once, ya dig?
 
i dunno man as an american im pretty against the whole hand outs thing, and i think 500 bucks gets scuandered by charities a bit(but it all counts) until i get my MBA and have money to donate to diabetes for my little brother, i couldnt care less spending 500 dollars for a phone, especially when you carry it with you EeeeeVERYWHERE, everyones always on their phones... i dunno iphones pretty sick as a tool also, additionally that shits got your ipod too and thats BALLIN for skiing. iphone music playing in your ear, music fades *RINGRINGRING* answer that, hello? done, all while comfortably smashin down the mtn.

my question is will i be able to get it for 200 if i renew my contract for my current iphone. i dunno about 6am though, but at least you're not this guy, i can't believe anyone can afford to just sit infront of a store for THAT long like this clown.

I hate people who say shit like "why don't you donate that money to charity?" Because it's my fucking money! If I worked hard to get it and then gave it all away or lock it all up in a savings account that what's the damn point?

Does Donald Trump need his own 747 jet? Shouldn't he have donated that money? Well no, because if he let you decide what to spend money on then he wouldn't have all the money has in the first place.

 
i seem to spend all my money on things that dont last much more than a week (I.E. beer, marijuana, and gas) so props on being able to buy something that will last you at least a year.
 
knowing you want a iphone (who knwos why, the blackcerry blows it away) i am sure you know you have to sign a contract with at&t. Also, 6am is way too late, if you remember last time people camped out like a day or two before they even came out. Remember seeing pics of that guy in ny? Also just a heads up, if you want to port your number over to at&t make sure you bring a copy of your current wireless providers bill. things will go easier and they will help you. you need a lot from that bill to port your number over. i saw if you want it than go for it! screw what anyone thinks. make yourself happy.
 
well i think im gonna take a shot at it, 5am seems like an OK bet for my area, or at least i hope so

another reason why i want the iphone is cuz im a flash designer/programmer and i wanna get in to programming apps for the iphone since a buddy of mine just picked up the sdk and shit seems SUPER simple to do, hey, maybe ill be nice to ya'll and make a iphone program for checking mountain stats and park updates?! CHEA
 
Im gonna be honest. Im a mac fan myself and the new iPhones look sick. I'd definitly go out and get one but i just bought my new skis. I just gotta work another couple of months and i'll have the money :)
 
i would get there at 6am. everything big that comes out has a huge line so get there early. like the ps3 launch in my town, its a small town and i had to get to gamestop 9 hours early to make sure i would get one. the earlyer the better
 
I think iPhones are cool and all, but I'd be afraid to ski with it. I think I'll stick to my little crappy moto slivr.
 
after reading this thread and checking out apple.com i've decided im going to get one as well.

getting a new phone, ipod, media center, and basically a small laptop for 200 bucks is a heck of a deal, imo.
 
If it works with my enterprise server at work I'll be getting one. Though at $103.54 with tax per month, it's not really that cheap. But the new Blackberry Bold will only save me $13 per month on that.
 
I have the current iPhone and I might upgrade to the 3g if I can get the lower price (I have an existing AT&T upgrade from my last phone). The plans seem too expensive though. In addition to my family plan line I'm paying 30 a month for data and 1500 messages. Now its like 30 for data alone and 15 for 1500 messages or something... that's 15 more than I'm currently paying.
 
for seriously.

There are times when you wish you had access to legit internet/basic computing stuff. I know blackberrys have 30542 more features and are $5,000 cheaper and they make your dick bigger and your woman hotter. I don't care. They look stupid, the screen is small, and they don't do cool swooshy things in the UI. (AND people who have blackberries always want to tell you why iPhones aren't as good... godfuckingdamn I don't care!)

If I was on ATT I'd have an iPhone, but I'm on verizon so I have an env. Gay.
