skipping right to the most recent beta version doesnt work to my knowledge (or at least hasnt for me when i tried skipping straight to 2) have to install 1 and OTA update which may take you straight to 3?
i hope some one can lend me some type of constructive help on this one but I downgraded from ios 7 to 6.1.4 and right BEFORE i down graded i did a back up in ios 7 to my computer then once i put 6.1.4 on it and tried doing a back up it wouldn't do it.... so any help i really just want the photos i had on their and i didnt have them synced with icloud
Tried to get beta 4 OTA today, didnt show up under settings->general->software update. I'm guessing this is because of the new security elgato mentioned, but could it be that they just havent released beta 4 yet?
Mine works great. A little buggy here and there, but what do you expect? It's a beta. Also the release of beta 4 has been delayed because of a hack into the developer database at apple.
i dont want to have to downgrade, but at the same time, after some of the shit i have read i wouldnt be surprised if they went on way harder lockdown on who can use the beta.
its gotten to the point where idiots who do not understand the concept of a beta are down rating apps and giving bad reviews because they are incompatible with their pre release test ios7 software.
between this and the developer portal being hacked is a prime example of why we cant have nice things..... so many fucking idiots who ruin it for everyone else
Haven't really noticed much difference between beta 3 and 4, but I'm sure there were probably a lot of interface bugs smoothed out. The only thing is they slightly changed the lock screen to let me know which way to swipe when unlocking. Thanks. OTA update went 100% smooth, though.
yep, same here. seems a little smoother, but that might just be me imagining it
but yeah, OTA update from beta 3 to beta 4 went fine. the full change log is online, the main things they seemed to change were that lock screen thing, and the dialer
the only thing i'm noticing so far that is iffy is a slight issue hitting the home button in the twitter app, it takes a few hits. but other than that, seems fine. no random crashes thus far
ive got your back haha. i think it was changed because if you start scrolling fast its REALLY easy to accidentally hit one of the bottom buttons. i do (did) it all the time.
