Ios 7 for free and easy

Failure to open apps on multiple occasions, ebay almost never opens.

Doesn't maintain timecode if you leave a song/video

Slow transitions to open apps

Sending a message often glitches and shows as having sent 3 temporarily, still having sent one.

Buttons often fail(ones outside of the keyboard(the new text ones))

Multitasking doesn't close apps always, even when they say they have been.

Wifi was pretty temperamental too which was annoying as fuck.

Bringing up the control centre happened too often when I was scrolling(probably about 60/70% of the way down the screen, must be a glitch)

Although there's a huge amount of improvements in every way, I just need something that works, can't wait till it's stable, so many timesaving things.

Download the firmware.

Plug phone into computer.

Open Itunes

Go to Iphone summary

Shift + click update

Locate firmware

Open firmware

It'll do the rest for you

I'll see how it is once they release the next beta, if it's any better I'll probably keep it.

it's extremely glitchy on my 4S, literally can't do anything with quickness, but still like a lot of the new features, although i'm not a big fan of some of the visual/design choices.

it neat but ill take it off tomorrow, it is slow i am on the 5 and music just randomly stops working i have had the phone shut down twice, the new features are cool and all but i will wait for the next beta before i leave it on there for more than 24 hours

just fyi you'll lose your jailbreak.

also july 24th is the rumored expiration date, but it'll for sure expire a few days after beta 2 releases. since beta 2 has no set release date (yet), it's only guesses now

day 2 with it on my 4S, and pretty much all is well. battery is draining a little faster than usual, but that's to be expected with a beta. a little glitchy / laggy here, but no restarts or resprings so far.

things i dont like so far

1) not into the color scheme that much, but it'll probably grow on me

2) why don't they put weather in the notification drop down anymore?

3) keyboard is constantly showing caps, which is a minor thing but still annoying

4) the new app icons look so stupid

i think that may be how the new keyboard is. i write in all caps in daily life so i actually like it

2) The weather has been improved so much, auto updates itself and shows instantly when you drag down the notification thing. Tells it perfectly.

And ah never realised why my battery was so low yesterday haha, that'd be why.

its about time they added the switches for 4G and WIFI. i have mine jailbroken and thats one of my favorites things on it, so i dont have to go to settings everytime. really debating if i want to DL

Just reposted this, so uh, fuck me for that.

But anyway I really like it. I just love changing it up after having the same program for a 1 1/2 years.

to be clear, if you have iOS 7, you can just update to beta 2 from your phone? or can i go download the 2nd beta from somewhere?

if you have iOS7 it's an OTA (over the air) update, same as any other iOS update. just do the regular settings>general>software update

definitely a lot faster and less laggy than beta 1, but still could use improvement. lots of little things have been fixed and new voices (m & f) for siri added. there's a full changelog somewhere if anyone's really interested

my iphone is soo glitchy these days. currently backing up all my sms messages just in case. and had to delete a ton of music to make room for the new update.and whenever i plug it in to itunes it gets stuck doing 'updates' at step 3. it never finishes.

damn i need 5S to come out so i can just get a 5 cheap

okay, i just went to the video in the OP and re-downloaded iOS 7 but the video was updated to beta 2, is it still considered 7.0 or is beta 2 like 7.0.2 or some shit?

still 7.0. once you update to 7.0, go to settings > general > software update and there should be the beta 2 update ready.

also gus BGR posted a "beta 2 changelog" but it was really the beta 1 known issues log. should be out within a few days

beta 2 seems a lot smoother. hasnt crashed yet.

i also freed up about 2GB of room on my phone which i usually dont have, so that probably helped too

so when I send iMessages they are showing up as my email address, I used to have it set to not do this so they came up as my phone number. If i remember in 6.1.4 or whatever you could go into your settings and change this... i dont see it on iOS 7, any ideas on what to do?

hey so i installed beta 2 from a restore file rather than OTA, and my phone will not activate and i am being asked to register my device with my developer account, is there any way around this or do i need to go back to beta 1 and OTA update?

I'm running this as a developer on a 32gb, 5th generation IPod touch. My question for you home-brewers is: How do I gain access to more dynamic wallpapers? They're dope as fuck.

Gee thanks,

Sophisitcation.

good cause beta 2 is crashing again. and some weird glitch with rewinding music.and im guessing its related to the new thing where apps run even when theyre closed, but it seems like if i try to do something in multiple apps at the same time, the one im not using glitches. especially music/ tunin radio since i use them most.

I had to restore from the first step, when downloading the 6.1.3 (or whatever it was). And then the "check for update" was for getting the ios7. I backed up my phone before doing all this, but for right now, I don't have any of my own stuff.

Eh, I probably did. Ended up loosing some IMO in some apps (past workout info, etc). But got most of my stuff back.

Yeah its really easy to do so props to this kid for helpin some other kids out but it got slow and was super buggy so i just went back to 6... If you just have an extra device laying around that you can theow it on go for it but i wouldnt put it on your primary phone that you use everyday.

this shit is so fking terrible. im completely restoring my phone tomorrow. bummer because my current music on there is 100% skip proof perfect

Smart. I'm gonna try lasting on ios7 for a bit longer. I've found a way around my biggest grief - podcast app not working
