hey, im doing this investment challenge thing at my school where i can win $1000, i get 500,000 in virtual money to invest in stocks and etfs over the course of 10 weeks. I have 8 weeks left. does anyone know of any good stocks that could possibly gain me a lot of money over that short period of time?

for real though, DRINKS right now are hot shit. soda stocks are going nuts and i believe MCd just posted record sales?

i'd invest it in some long term low gain bonds if I were you, virtual money ain't nothing to fuck with
 
well i dont know shit about stocks but i would assume even if stocks are going up its going to be very slow and probably wont make your ending total any higher. no one is making money on wall street right now really.

Ford has been kicking ass for over a year, actually a pretty good pick.

Converted a lot of plants that produced SUV's and Trucks into fuel eff. vehicles. Got rid of the mercury brand and liquidated a ton of assets leaving them with a ton of cash on hand at the time of the financial crisis and thu denying any bailout funds. Because of this they have gained even more of the market share. Ford is killing it!
