Hey,

I was just wondering how many of youre home town mountains allow inverts in the park? I dont think ours does, but the patrol are usually cool about it.

I ski at Grouse which is just outside Vancouver and they allow inverts. Peace.

i dont thik they allow inverts but i have only seen one kid get yelled at for doing one so no one really cares.

at bittersweet, in MICHIGAN!!!!!!!, as long as you dont suck/arent stupid you can throw whatever you want, on almost whatever you want. Last year, there was a lift nobody ever used, we built a kicker on the corner of the down-ramp and flipped in a few times, then the liftie said to stop until the lift closed.

i changed my name to turd ferguson...its a funny name, see there, it says turd...thats funny

at my home resort in otario - Talisman - does allow inverts. along with Mount Saint Louis, they are the only two in southern ontario that do - I think. Snow Valley didn't seem to care, but finding a jump big enough to get off the ground is a different story. It is an insurance issue here. but some resorts are really anal about it.

Blue mountain is brutal.

You can't even do a misty. Hell my friend got in trouble for doing a handplant.

I got my pass clipped for sticking a flair in the pipe last year. There was only three people in the park too.

Blue sucks ass...

Terrain park is good though...

'Who ordered the turkey club?' the waitress yelled across the small diner.
'I did!' The man excitedly replied.
Promptly, an over-excited turkey ran out from the back and beat the man to death with a large wooden bat.

i didnt know app didnt allow inverts. ive seen you and matt ward doing em, i guess the patrollers are just stupid then.

they are just lazy and dont really care, but if brad or grady gets on their case, they will get picky, which is what i expect to happen a lot next year.

yellowsnow4u, i ski at grouse, and theres never any ski patrol ppl to see the inverts. let alone anyone actually being good enough to do them. it'll all change next year when im around.

well inverts were once explained to me as a trick where your hips are above your head during some part of the trick... now at sunday river even an off axis trick might get you in trouble depending on the patroller, i mean kids throw all sorts of stuff and most of the time you don't get in trouble, basically if you ski away from it and don't hang around you won't get in trouble but if you fall you're screwed and if a patroller DOES see you in the air you're also screwed...

yeah line1260, at bittersweet, they look the other way, but at timber ridge they are soo strict about it, and the park is right out in the open, but we get away with it most of the time

Out here at Edleweiss No one really cares.... The head instructor does Backsflips all the time.....So either there to lazy to inforce it on the insurnce side or it covered......who knows....mind you who cares?

They dont allow it at Val dIren but we still do some. THe problem is that I am a ski instructor so I cant do filmed flip with my normal coat on so I do them with my t-shirt and it is damn cold.

Still, inverted trick give on off the best feeling in skiing.

are there any resorts that allow them? My home resort took my pass away 7 times becasue of inverts...kinda sux

Fuck you. Seriously. I am the ancient thread bump police, and I am going to kill each member of your family slowly with a meat cleaver.

Technically I think they're against the rules but i do um everyday and even some ski patrol does to

I ski whistler, they dont care what you do as long as you dont hit other people or crash and sue them.

Inverts are technically not allowed at Loch Lomond, Thunder Bay, but ive never seen it enforced.

Cause the hill can get in shit if people get hurt, and they don't want people getting paralyzed in their park

Inverts aren't allowed but ski patrol only recognizes front, back and lincolns as flips. A rodeo is an off axis spin in their book.
We also aren't allowed to go in the woods, so glades runs are rare but exhilarating.

Mad River doesn't care but i guess i wouldn't either if my "mountain" had a 300 ft. vertical
