Is it possible to do an invert on the snow for the first time without hurting yourself? Like with out a trampoline before hand?

No. Nobody in the history of ever has landed a invert on their first try on snow without first doing one on a trampoline or at a pool.

i landed back flip on first try. eveything else took alot of falling.

backflips are easy as shit, kinda a pointless trick though, ive only landed like 10 then i just stoped doing them and moved onto real tricks... but i can do them on the tramps, i would say they would be nearly imposible to land first try if you didnt do them on a tramp

you have to at least know how to throw the trick, you cant have no clue how to throw a rodeo and say shit ehre goes nuthin cuz youll eat shit most likely. buy a tramp you shysty bastard

i died the first time i tried a backflip. no tramp pool or anything, just kinda threw myself off a backcountry kicker. broke 3 vertebrate got hte x rays to prove it . it was a long plane ride home from alta to mass. im dumb as rocks tho.

 
i learned backflips without a tramp or any of that shit on the one good powder day in the east coast last year. it took 3 tries of landing on my chest in 3 feet of pow. the cool thing about backs is once u get em u can pretty much throw them off anything with enough air. plus the whole invert thing is so fun. think heli only more fun.

...one time this guy opened a window and the ninja flipped out and killed the whole TOWN!!!...
 
freestyle walking is for you, my son. When you don't have a trampolean, take those flips to the concrete.
