a sensible way to pick up croutons with your salad without them just breaking in half. forks dont work, i had a lacking salad today as a result. this could go somewhere...
 
ice tongs, can gently pick up anything in a salad. Anyone who markets the tongs like this must pay me royalties.

here is what you do. scoop the crouton first, put it in your mouth but don't swallow. next get your salad and put it in your mouth...simple as that.
 
if you put some salad on the fork and then stab the crouton but dont go right through the crouton it usually doesnt break
 
im pretty sure that nobodyh would make millions for inventing a stupid little utencil that picks up croutons cuz thats its only purpose and you just eats croutons w/o a salad   which means this utencil would have to be able to pick up salad too   meaning a fork   so  stop complaining and just use a fork
