thats not the junior version is it? cuz i know a girl who had the junior version and the tip dug into the ground and did that same thing.
 
next years better be fuckin bombproof, cuz fuck, lines had 2 years to get there shit together with the invader
 
that's not that out of the ordinary. my bro ran into a rail with his 4frnt msps and they broke the same way, also this year at my local hill a kid skied at a wall ride and suffered a similar break: one ski went under the wall and it snapped right in front of the binding. I guess if you run into a rail with a good amount of speed soemthing has to give, and the rail is not going to move.
 
as a side note ive been sking those inveades at a 178 since jan and have had no problems other than a few small nicks on the topsheet.

ANY ski has the same odds of breaking the same way.

Unless you design a ski that is actually stronger than the rail itself.
 
I am the "friend" he is talking about, i think today was my 3rd or 4th day on them, they are not even gouging yet...then today i clipped the front of the rail and snap

lol I remember the time when invaders were "so cool right now" on ns.just before people realized that they break and delam like hell
 
what do you guys expect??? they are $300 retail skis, comon. the cheapest twins you can buy do NOT have the same durability as well made skis. drop some dough on some decent skis, then you wont whine all the time.
 
Hey have 04 line chronics the white ones with the skulls and birds. ive had them for 3 years and they are stong as hell. i ride them hard.
 
are you kidding what ski wouldnt break when you run straight into a rail, they never said the ski was indestructable
 
I bought the 08 addict pro today to replace the invaders, and sent the invaders into line to warranty them, hopefully it works out, if not i have the addict pro now
 
ok kids, listen up...

plenty of invaders HAVE NOT BROKEN.

plenty of other skis HAVE BROKEN.

it happens. shit happens. slamming your ski into a rail will straight fuck your shit up. dont cry. dont blame line.

delamming is another issue though.
