i bought a pair and skied them over the summer and i was taking a look at them last week and 2 of my tips are delaming. and i got 3 cracked edges. i noticed in the other thread the one kids invaders broke and he had an early pare too. im wondering if its possible i got one of the early prototype pairs

um, wow seems like another rumor, but what do i know, my invaders are really nice, and i love how they ride, havent had a problem yet, maybe this is just me but it seems like every kind of ski has a problem after you ride them a lot

dude you could have taken another approach to this situation. Instead of making a title like that, that instantly turns people away from line, you could have possibly emailed line and asked them if you had a pair in a bad batch. You dont have to be an asshole and attract negative attention on these skis just so you can get someone from line to talk to you like sugarloafer dude. way to go asshole. email line

i absolutly love my invaders funest ski on the planet and there holding together for me. they seirusly make skiing easyer i learnd nose on my second day this season.

The prototypes seem to be exploding. I am wondering why people keep complaining if they bought them knowing they were early editions of the ski. It is possible as well that they are not well made, as Line did move to china last year. Many people said there would be no change in quality, but this may make a case. I would be interested to find out about other Line skis this year. Again, this is only speculation.

basically...if you DID happen to get a pair of the prototypes (anythign released to SHOPS before this november) you are likely to have problems with them such as sugarloafa did...i know 3 ppl now that have the invaders and bought them only recently and they're all holding together fine and they beat the SHIT out of them...

im getting sick of people trying to give line a bad name by posting everywhere that they delam. If you have a problem email line and go to your shop.If its a prototype they'll give you a new pair.

were not trying to give line a bad name. we are trying to let people know that they might have a pair of prototypes and they might not last

i almost bought a pair of the early invaders...post some pics amd email line they should give you new ones as long as you can get them to return your email which i hear has been a problem for many people

i was about to get a pair for 250 but then my friend sold me his scrtaches for 75 hopefully i will get a year out of them

line tends to do that to ya. when i was first introduced to freeskiing, my buddy was sponsored by line and said his skis delamed after 2 weeks and he made me swear to never buy line. i've held my word thus far.

I noticed that you were selling these skis back in October on here.

We hadn't shipped any production quality skis out of our factory until November. For this reason, you must have bought one of our early prototyes from one of our product testers. I hope you realize that great skis aren't created on the first try just like you don't stomp a trick on your first try, thats the pupose of prototypes. We built over 20 different versions of the Invader dialing in flex, thickness, etc. until we got it right (with durability as one of the most important ingedients).

Customer service works like all companies. Warranties must be handled by the shop that you purchased it from (not directly with us) and shops will not accept a warranty without proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Since you didn't follow through with either of these, they had to refuse to warranty it. This is one of the reasons its important to buy product from a real authorized shop and if a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is (as you've found out the hard way and good for everyone reading this to know).

After spending time digging up the history on this ski and realizing you're now in a tough situation that you didn't forsee, we'll make a special arrangement with a shop near you to warranty the skis. Email me your contact info: jasonl@lineskis.com

Thanks for riding Line,

Jason

PS: If we see car tire marks on the topsheet we may change our mind. ha ha

the space between the base and the top sheet is about 1/2 centemeter i know its not much but its goingclear around the tip.

simple solution : go to your ski shop, or any hardware store, and get them to rivet the tips back with some super glue between them...buddy did it to his old stomps and it worked SO sweet and looked pretty cool too...its cheap, easy, and you'll stop being a whore
