Invaders comparable to silencer?

im looking at the line 6 invaders and i think there pretty fricken sweet but im kinda short on cash this year and was planning on getting a pair of k2 silencers that my local shop can cut me a deal on.

are these two skis even close as far as preformance?
 
no, they are far from similar. invader is symmetrical and soft silencer is more all mountain and stiff (old PE design). IMO the invader is worth the extra $ if your gonna be doing just park, but if you are doing some all mountain consider the silencer.
 
no, not at all. What you do in the park is like 95% you and 5% the ski. It's more about personal preference, whether you like a noodley ski for butters (invader), or a stiffer ski for more pop and stability (silencer).
