I know there's been a lot of questions about the invader. I made a little promo video about the invader for my internship this year and its up on the LINE site.

Check it out, Will skis in it and it was filmed by myself at sugarbush and the meathead guys at loon.

 
that was sick they look like they are gonna be a great park ski

i would get them but i need a more big mountain ski for the terrain here in taos if i had som extra money i would get them specifically for park nice video i enjoyed it

And i have been kind of wondering this for a while, but why do ski companies consistently put the "butter zone" so far in front of/behind the binding. If you think about weight distribution rocking into a butter or noseslide its very hard to get to a point where the butter zone would make a big difference. Is it just me, or should the butter zone be closer to the binding if you really wanted to make a difference.

i just think the words "butter zone" are a marketing thing, on the video he said its the point were the ski is the thinnest...no shit they will flex alot there. butter zones are stupid and arent really an added thing, its just the thin part of the skis

but hey it makes the ski sell doesnt it?

I think I was at loon the day you guys shot that jumping footy...I might have even ridden up the gondola with you...looks like a sick park ski but the bottom and top graficks still make me dizzy, theres just too much on the ski.

Will got my major and the internship stuff right.

As far as the ski sucking outside the park, it doesn't. Its really responsive, wide enough to bust through the slop, and torsionally rigid enough to carve well. Its really super fun all over the mountain for 99% of the skiing you're going to do. Obviously if I was skiing Alaska or a big day in Tahoe or Jackson I'd wanna be on something beefier like the prophet, but other than that the ski is super fun. I ski it almost every day I'm out there.

and Will not getting free skis, if he gets his act together and sends LINE some stuff, that will probably change.
