[Potatoes]

today on the hill, i saw a kid with invaders that weren't center mounted. i almost died laughing. i wondered what kind of shop would actually think to mount them that way.

just thought i'd share.

Some people like to ride alittle back even on their park skis. Get over it. I bet you couldent feal the difference between absolute center and alittle back and niether can I. I know that the vast majority of demo siks are set back just because they dont know any better.

^but invaders are symmetrical. Which means not having them center mounted would be weird.

ya I guess alittle but I dont think it would make that much of a difference. Snowboars are symetric and people mount them alittle back and still ride switch.

it is not an issue of how u like ur skis mounted, the invaders have to be centermounted. if they are not u run the risk of breaking them really easily. so that kid who has them mounted back is retarded

ok so the problem with mounting them back from center is that the sidecut is symetrical, and your boot center wont match the sidecut of the ski... thats wrong and not how the ski was intended to be mounted. I think we can all agree on that.

However hows about one of you know-it-all's explain to me how that is any different that you mounting your skis center when they are ment to be mounted back from center.

that kid isn't doing anything different that most of you do. he is simply mounting his skis the way he perfers them.

its just wierd that someone would mount a ski which is ENTIRELY DESIGNED around the centermount and then not mount them center...
