Invader or anthems for midwest

alright im a guy who is 5,6.5 and 140 pounds i ski the midwest and im deciding between the anthems or the invaders. im not sure what ski to get i know im want to get 171.
 
i would go for invaders

my friends love them and they are nice and soft

and the graphics on anthems are horrible
 
well i have friends that own both in the midwest. they both love their skis. but in my personal opinion why the hell would you ride a fat ski on the icy midwest when there is a ski that is exactly the same except thinner and better for ice?
 
get anthems, they ski just as well. actually a lil stiffer and more stable because of the added girth, plus elliptical sidecut means they turn better
 
i ride every where in minnesota and just picked up some invaders cause my armadas broke...a buddy of mine has invaders and loves them.
 
it depends on how much snow you get honestly... yeahdave.. anthems are not stiffer than invaders they are the EXACT same ski just 10mm wider. And it depends on how much you are riding around the mountain compared to park. the extra 10mm makes it ski a little better. either way you will be fine i have invaders for PA and love them im getting next years anthems soon cause i liked the way they rode a little better
