So theres a dope deal on this years invaders at a local store. Im really considering buying them and I'm wondering if anyone has heard of the delam issue this year with them. Did they fix it with whatever they did to the tips.

Thanks

Except of the 2 whole pairs we've sold all year (and one warrenty pair we gave out as a cedit for last years) all 3 have come back and are awaiting an RA.

fujative? Silencer? Soon to be...el ray? I dont think delam should be associated with pricepoint skis. Just low quality companies. I dont know why everyone doesnt hold on to buy line till they are full k2 construction.

yea just straight up dont buy line skis seriously...

i know kids who get them cus htey think they look cool and this is the second pair he's had and the second time they delammed on him but ill give it to k2 for making strong ass skis i skied my PE's like 2 years ago soooo hard and they held up great

i like my scratchs tho

my invaders finally delamed after two months of seriously beating them up with rails and urban. so much more durable than last years in my mind.

how would one go about getting riviting their skis? any stores that would help out with this or what?

yuck, i hope they never have K2's construction or design. Line is line and i hope K2 doesnt wreck their skis, they'll be too heavy and not flex right. the only reason they delamed last year is cause they were made in china, and everyone knows the high quality found in china

Buy a rivet gun and some rivets? Or a metal shop or someone you know who works on shit like cars or whatever and has alot of tools might have one, most ski shops also have them and could probably do it for you for 10 bucks or so.

And sorry for the double post, but to whoever is saying Invaders suck cause they are Line and not because they are price point skis is a moron, cheap skis are cheap for a reason, Fujatives lose camber after a week of riding, Invaders delam, it's simply because they aren't built as well as a more expensice ski, and when you take that fact and then beat the skis on rails and shit, things are bound to go wrong. But they are getting better at least (Invaders anyway, Fujatives still lose camber).

They aren't ALL delaminating, I've seen 2-3 pairs that had problems, and out of the oh, I dunno...hundreds of pairs sold, I'd say a couple isn't that many. Don't hate, Other companys have issues with products too, and they aren't doing nearly as much progressive stuff as Line is.

so it seems like the concensus in to pass on the invaders. I could rivet them but im pretty sure that would void the warrenty anyways.
