Invader high speeds?

Well i want to get some inbaders but because there so soft i was wondering how they would do at high speeds. Because sometimes i like bombing some parks or go pretty fast, would they be super unstable?

well, they hold up in park. its not like they'll wash out from under you. but if you take it to the real steeps and bumps at high speeds, they'll noodle up and give out

havent skied them but my anthems are just about the same stiffness.

from expirience:

groomers crank it up and fly

slow up in crud

some people ski them everywhere. ive been on them and they hold up at highspeeds but are just too buttery for me. if you are flying and really try to load a carve they are real noodly. you can go fast no problem but just be aware that they are real flexy specially when your carving real hard

I had a nasty high speed tumble on really thick crud when I was making a turn to get onto another trail. I honestly have no idea what happened, the snow built up over the skis somehow and it restricted my movements and i tumbled straight ahead instead of the way I was intending to go.

from personal experience, they work ok if its groomed super well and not bumpmy, if things get bumpy and cruddy and ungroomed vaders just go noodly on you

invaders are made for rockin!

i see no difference in stiff park ski or soft park ski at high speeds, but everywhere else it does make a difference, if u know what i mean

I ride Anthems, the ones without the carbon ollieband, and they can handle whatever I throw at 'em. I am 5'10" and 155.

I've skied my Invaders for nearly a full year now. On anything groomed, they are a ton of fun. I can go just as fast on them as any other ski I've ridden. They carve very well and are a nice feel. Anything ungroomed can get sketchy, but if you are a good skier, you can still make them do what you want.

I'm a bigger strong skier too. I have a soft spot for soft, flexy, playful skis.

lol, yea.

and define crud, like i know what it is but i dont know how thick of crud you are talking about. Are you talking about baseball sized chunks or what?

and thanks for the help.

I can charge cruded out ontario conditions pretty fast with my invaders, but it's a little sketchy.

they don't have a sintered base, so you have to keep them well waxed if you want to go fast anywhere tahts even a bit flat.

not bad at all, ive hauled ass on them before, in rougher snow they can get beat around a little bit, but they do fine. moguls they are ok, but the center mount catches tails at times. they are a fun ski to use all over the mountain

mine are so soft that when im straight lining at jumps it sound like like when ur bangin ur chick n her ass is clappin...would recomend buying them unless you get skis like every 2 months

you cant really arc a turn on them but on flat base at high speed they are fine kinda scary to slow down though

so oyu would or wouldnt recommened them?

im not sure if i should get this years or wait till the 09's come out. The 09's look fuking dope.

i have the anthem, and its the same ski just fatter. um.. send it as fast as you want in untracked, park, groomed, but when it comes to crud, SLOW THE FUCK DOWN. my first day on the ski, accidentaly mached through crud on the side of the park, and you pretty well have no choice but to ride it out and pray you dont eat it. they are very unstable on bad snow at high speeds.

they arent very forgiving all mtn. if you get backseat you are gonna flex them a ton and possibly fall over. after 2 years of skiing on them im ready to go back to a stiffer ski
