I would really try again to warrenty them. That seems ridiculous that they would break that quickly. However, with the price, they have sacraficed things that will make it stronger and more expensive, and it was also made in china, so I dont know. Try to warrenty them again anyway.

Line def aint shitty, besides the invader is SUPPOSED to be the most technical and innovative park ski this yer...mudda fucka

not to bring you down, but im sure there are more fujatives ending up like that, compared to invaders

Ryan Riley (Sugarloafa),

I noticed that you were selling these skis back in October on here.

https://www.newschoolers.com/ns3/web/forums/readthread.php?thread_id=162353&

We hadn't shipped any production quality skis out of our factory until November. For this reason, you must have bought one of our early prototyes from one of our product testers. I hope you realize that great skis aren't created on the first try just like you don't stomp a trick on your first try, thats the pupose of prototypes. We built over 20 different versions of the Invader dialing in flex, thickness, etc. until we got it right (with durability as one of the most important ingedients).

Customer service works like all companies. Warranties must be handled by the shop that you purchased it from (not directly with us) and shops will not accept a warranty without proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Since you didn't follow through with either of these, they had to refuse to warranty it. This is one of the reasons its important to buy product from a real authorized shop and if a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is (as you've found out the hard way and good for everyone reading this to know).

After spending time digging up the history on this ski and realizing you're now in a tough situation that you didn't forsee, we'll make a special arrangement with a shop near you to warranty the skis. Email me your contact info: jasonl@lineskis.com

Thanks for riding Line,

Jason

PS: If we see car tire marks on the topsheet we may change our mind. ha ha

Wow thats really awesome of you jason. Im proud to ski on a ski with an owner like that. You dont see the owner of K2 or Rossi on here making special deals do you? Thats really awesome, way to go! I love my chronics

yeh snoop jason is the best for shit like that..thats why i support a company such as his.

thats pretty good im thinking of invaders as they are cheap and dope but i wish they came longer than 178 hope they dont break...any (sic)(i cant spell)guarenteees jason??

bad batch i have rode my invaders every day for 2 mounths on rails fell off aqword and they still holdin togeher amazing

i hope everyone fucking reads this thread and never bashes line or j.lev ever again, this is by far the most generous thing ive ever seen a company do for a customer ever. youre lukcy kid, and j.lev is the newschool jesus.

your wrong motha fucka. my cousin just set the new record (she used a long skinny peice of paper) its all over nerd websites like slashdot and stuff

what if they werent proto types and this problem happens to the rest of the us, it makes sense that it could because of the change in flex really quickly in the ski...the amount of pressure on this point really could make this seem like a possibility, although im probably wrong

wait so i bought my pair in whistler in july. whats up with those are they ok. they seem to be alright. i just dont want to be trying something and then they snap on me.

Probably the coolest thing Jason could've done. Now that's the best customer service I've ever heard of! Right on Jason!!
