I told you so. You all freaked out and shit but who was right. What do you think of LINE skis now, i personally still think there rad but do you think the invader has tarnished there near rusty image?

yeh i still fucking love line skis i dont even care...look at like armada even...my buddy has ar5s and has rode like not even 15 times and has edge cracks all along his edge...not very large by comparisson but still...line is not the only company that has material failure/problems...people need to stop jumping on band wagons by hating line and need to realize this...

the part that is delaming is just a thin coversheet which doesnt really matter in terms of preformance of the ski.. you can just cut it off and you should be fine

mine are fine.

why are you people on such a mission to "prove" the most dedicated ski company has crappy product? Ive delammed or known someone who has delammed every brand ski out there.

The real question is ALL SKIS BREAK, which company STANDS BEHIND THERE SHIT?

LINE DOES.

Hey maybe all you morons will succeed in downtalking Line right out of business, and then I bet all you same morons will complain that a "core" ski company is gone.

Let this shit rest for christ sakes, what the hell is to become of our industry if all we can ever do is find fault in the best companies out there.

JESUS CHRISSSE

my edges are fine after 2 months of straight urban and early season park rails, not one crack.

exactly, nick......if you want to keep posting about this in all fairness you should also be posting about every other ski related piece of equipment you have broken, and I also think it would be fair to post about how your warranty experience went with those companies too.

i said there still rad im not talking smack. Ive broken damn near everything you can think of and most was warrantied.

alright I will explain this again, ahem. Its quite simple the genaral public wants a soft, fun, durable, yet cheap ski. That is impossible. SOFT SKIS BREAK EASIER, so quit your bitching, you paid for a soft ski. If you want a stronger ski get one that's very very stiff. There is no such thing as a soft durable ski, you have to sacrafice points in one aspect to gain points in another. There are some happy mediums out there though.

i love my invaders...but this is more than a delam problem...

i've riden armada for the last 2 years, no problems ever. maybe your buddy is a bitch to his skis, i mean i deff. abuse mine sometimes but they hold up awsome, all hail armada!

i love line..i ride the skogens...the big mountain model for park and its still a tank....good on rails too...just not flexy....line will always be good in my book...

i've seen it happen to 4 pairs within a week or two of normal park riding. one of my friends actually recieved a pair from line that were ALREADY delamming in the tip, still in the plastic. so sick!

thats stupid... anything you pay for shouldnt break that fast...not everyone is rich and can buy ar5's and thalls... theres a lot of skiers like me that DONT have mommy and daddy to pay for everything and im only 15 so jobs arent easy to come by.. people like me need skis to and the invader is it... and it should stay together no matter how much it is.... i feel that if line is making a product they need to make sure it stays together.. and im hoping since line is my favortite ski company they will fix all problems with the 06 07 invaders..

well if your definition of caring for your skis is not using them then yes...but these were only ridden 15 days (11 in park) and never used for urban.

i have one tip delamed and both of my tails are on verge of letting go too, but i'm still rockin' them to the end. as for the rest of you invader delams out there just shut up and ride 'em. if you need to glue them, glue them, rivet them, do something productive unlike bitching about it on here which isn't gonna fix them or get you new ones. you might as well not let something this petty get in the way of your skiing. when your season is over send them and be done with it.

^ mine did the same thing. you know what i did? instead of sitting on NS and bitching about how line sucks, i took action. i got some epoxy and a few clamps and reassembled my skis. guess what? they havent started to delam since then, and i have been skiing them harder than ever. its not a hard problem to fix at all. take some initiative and take care of it instead of bitching about a company that has arguably done more for this industry than any other.

did you not notice how the very first thing i said was "i love my invaders"? I haven't said anything against Line and i think they are a sick company. And how would you know if I've done anything about it anyway...I've e-mailed Line and now am just waiting for brand new skis...way better than home repaired ones

there you go

and danny j, by posting that pic, you turned fellow ns'ers to buying this ski, which is pretty much teh same thing as bitching about line

dannyJ, line doesnt have anything left to replace them with, at least if you have 178's. i called line too, and they told me just do what i need to so they are rideable. if you are waiting on new skis, i hate to break it to you, but you'll be waiting until next october at least, unless somehow they started production on next year's stuff. for your sake, hopefully you have one of the shorter sizes, so they might have something to send you, but i doubt it at this point in the season.

i love line, ive had lines for the past few years. The first problem i had was delamming of my invaders. If you pay $300 for a pair of skis you will get $300 dollars worth of skiing, its a trade off

motivation

so your saying stay in your condo w/ your boots on and your skis will be fine? yea...just not an option...i'm sorry if you do that though!

why were they denied? did they void their warrenty somehow? (refrence for anyone else, incase they plan to warrenty their invaders as well)
