Invader $475.00 ?

I thought the one of the big ideas behind this ski is that it would be 300.00 dollors and the best ski on the market.. thats what ive read time and time again. so i was shocked to see it being sold for 475 on DS any thoughts on this or am I just playing mind games on my self ?

they're $300 on the us site, but $475 canadian equals $391.43 us. weird.

Ok i understand that that was an American price now wich would make sense why the Canadian price is more. But as buddy ^ just said its still 391.00 so where ias this 91 dollors coming from ?

I don't know. but that sucks, but if you just not care and buy from the US shop, they will be $300usd.

If you order from Canada, you need to talk to D-Structure about the price difference.

Uh... Yeah... everything is always expensive on the Dshop SITE. Give them a call and you'll find that the prices change pretty dramatically. The website isn't useful for much besides pictures and checking stock in my experience.

If thats the case then its one big fucking rip off. Listen though proctor jones isnt core enough for some of you its great. They have no taxes and free shipping and most of there skis are at a real low price. I have bought from them before and they are very good. Also Dstructure wont have the Ar5's until september and proctor jones is getting them some time in the next week.

 
Don't be surprised when you find out they're full of shit. They may not even get their line skis in at all. They won't be getting them before anyone else, that's for sure.

tis true that goods sold on the internet in canada are not tax exempt, but it's usually included after the total based on the "ship to" location because in most provinces you pay tax on the shipping and handling cost, too.

I was in whistler yesterday and at one store in the village the invaders were 450$ and the chrons 525$ the same price as the 4frnt stl's! Whistler is really overpriced In calgary they sell invaders for 400$

i'm sorry to say that, but d-structure is a ripoff. i live in canada and i order all my stuff from us cause it's like twice cheper than ordering from d-structure.

Getboards has them for $298.98 US and the Canadian dollar/US dollar exchange rate changes so maybe you can time it right so that the US dollar is worth more to Canada at some point but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I am willing to bet you they are not. i got salomon thrusters in may. I got the new giro mx 9 in june from them. trust me they get everything before most.

 
The thrusters came out around february. They were a mid-season release. A lot of companies that deal with them are pissed because they are selling product lower than they are supposed to, which cheapens the brand image. If they don't change it, a lot of companies won't even send them the skis. But I guarantee that they don't have them in stock right now. Call and ask if you don't believe me.
