Anyone rocking this? Im in desperate need for some new liners. Wish Solomon sold them... But I just wanna know if you guys are bummed not having lace-able liners, cuz I think I might be lost without them..

You'll be happy you switched. Intuitions are the rolls royce of liners and spk liners are your mom's minivan

My threads because I want to do the same thing. I would'nt be to concerned about not having the lace able liners because, correct me if I'm wrong, they don't support your foot they just help wrap your foot in the liner.

i pulled the spk liners out this season and got some intuitions in them nowi love them, have no complaints. probably the most comfortable boots i have ever worn now

Intuition Liners are the best liners I've ever had come with a boot (Full Tilt Konflicts) and I think you'll be very happy with them.
Have you looked at Zipfit liners? There have laces and a velcro strap. I don't think these do much apart from helping to get the boot on but some people may feel differently (I put my foot in the liner, lace up and then go into the boot shell). Zipfits beat the Intuitions to the top boot liner spot for me, but they're both great so I'd recommend trying both and seeing which you prefer.
There are also some new liners by Intuition that look like a regular liner (they have a regular, rather than wrap-around, tongue) that might be worth a look too. They didn't have an intuition logo on them, from what I remember, but they are made by Intuition (maybe sold under a different/new brand?).

For 11/12, Atomic has exclusive, custom made Intuition liners that feature a strobel lasted alpine sole (traditional alpine bottom to the liner) and a plastic alpine tongue. Keeps all the benefit and warmth of Intuition but also the boot-fitting and ski-worthy nature of a traditional alpine liner.

They will come on the Tracker 130 Intuition and be sold aftermarket as well.

I find it really difficult to justify the price of a Zipfit liner and honestly a lot of people don't even like them. I put Intuition liners in an SPK and it stiffened the boot a bit and fit my foot very well. The laces literally don't do anything, who cares. If you have an Intuition Powerwrap liner then there is no seperate tongue that would need laces anyway. I haven't known many people to be dissapointed in an Intuition since it molds to your foot so well.

My dad has the zip fit liners and he loves them and are a very good performance liner. The only problem he has with them is if they get really cold they are hard to put on and take off

My liners are the Gran Prix model. I guess they are pretty expensive compared to Intuitions, I think the retail is $300 or something!
However, as they are not a conventional foam liner (they're contain fine pieces of cork in a silcone oil, most likely some grade of PDMS oil) they shouldn't break down nearly as easily as a foam liner.
While the Intuition liners are a lot more durable than any stock liners (My Ace of Spades liners packed out super quick this summer) they do break down. If you're still growing I'd say go with the Intuitions as they are great liners (I prefer the Zipfits, but the Intuitions are also great) and a lot cheaper (I think). If you're feet aren't growing then the extra durability of the Zipfit may make them a good choice.
Anyway, its all down to what you like and what fits you so see if you can put your feet into both. I know the liners won't have moulded to your feet but its worth seeing how they feel as the Zipfit has a very different feel to any other liner I've been in; I like it, but you might hate it.
I know this is obvious but a good bootfitter is more important than any boot design, shape liner etc... so make sure you find a good one to work with you and your new liner.

I may have to look into Atomic boots next year, rather intrigued about the new tracker boot.

that being said, I've skied my intuitions in many traditional alpine liner boots and I really notice a difference.

I skied lange's wc 150 with my intuition and it was the hot sex

Holy fuck. This thread must be the lovechild between Martin Rand and Surefoot. Let the liners go, intuitions can be nice, but they can also be a disaster. They are not the end all be all of bootfitting.

Zip fits, and most foam injection suck balls and are complete crap used to get money from a customer. They should be used in very few cases.

Also the durability of intuitions sucks.

never heard of this.

i asked a random guy today who was putting on some older head boots with aftermarket intuitions in them, he said he had about 180 to 200 days on them, and they had only just begun to pack out.(i figure he was at least 190 lbs?) so they sound like the durability is pretty good. . . . ..

uhhhh, thanks for the helpful insight... why don't you try recommending an alternative next time rather than bashing the only useful suggestions in this thread.

I have intuitions in my dalbellos and they work perfectly for my feet. Had intuitions in my old boots for 4 years without a problem as well.

I got some in my Rampages and i will never, ever go with anything else ever again!

I don't rock insoles in my molded Intuition liners haha

I got spks now and do you guys think I should buy the intuition liners?I was looking at the full tilt ones that cost $130

kinda a dumb question but do all ft boots come with intuition liners? or do you have to buy them seperatly?
