Intuition linerhea

It could take a couple weeks of skiing on, possibly less. But it won't be as good as having it done in a shop, in a much more controlled environment. The shop will use toe caps, which give more toe room and a better heel fit. Plus the heat from the heat stack will also make the outside of the liner mold to the shell better.

when getting my classics molded IN THE SHOP it took only about 15 minutes with my toes raised by a wooden block for a better fit...DEFINATELY get them molded in the shop, When my boots were done i could tell the toe caps helped my heel stay back for a better mold.

I've been skiing in my fulltilts all last year, and i just went skiing for the first time yesterday. Just yeaterday, the spur just below my ankle bone really started to hurt, is there any way to know if getting them moulded (i never have) will fix the pain?

there are about 5 possible causes to that pain and without seeing your foot in the shell it will be impossible to know for sure. do you have proper footbeds in there? that whould be the first thing I would check for as a boot-fitter.

Word, thanks a lot. Would it not be a pretty easy fix just to get the spot punched out?

it may be that u just have not been used to having your feet in a confined space again, wear then a few more time and see if the pain eases

Not necessarily. For example, if the problem is support/footbed related, then you want to properly support your foot. If your foot collapses and you simply make a stretch in the problem area, then your foot will continue to collapse into that stretched zone. Then your foot moves around even more, creating additional problems. It's best to see a boot-fitter so he/she can fix the actual problem so you don't end up creating more issues.
