Introverts Vs. Extroverts - What kind of person are you?

yeah, i agree. you can't present something like that as black or white because obviously no one is going to show all the traits for introversion all the time, and no one is going to show the traits of extroversion all the time. didn't think you were calling anyone dumb, sorry if it sounded like i was accusing you of that

My issue is that so many things it states as characteristics of introversion are generally resultants of a lack of self-confidence or other personality characteristics rather than introversion.

You can be loud, confident, scattered and still introverted. I know some very shy, focused extroverts. Some correlation does not mean causation. I'll be honest that I didn't get far in the movie but the combination of overdramatic bullshit and a typo made me figure the rest wouldn't tell me much.

Here is a test.

Don't be an idiot and answer in a way that emulates what you want to be over what you are, dont conform to what you think you should write. Read each question, think about how you have acted in the past and answer yes/no based on how you've acted in the past. If you're unsure or you can answer both yes/no, just go with your gut, answer it quick and dont change it.

Introvert. I think I'm INxx, when ever I take that test they switch up but land on INFJ a fair amount. Which is supposed to be the most rare but useless type.

If anyone is really into it and understands it and wants to help me figure out what my actual Myers briggs type is that would be great.

I think it's because "introverts" are more curious about their personality by nature and also by nature want to express their feelings more so than others. Also I'm IITP.

isfp

You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)

You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)

You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)

You have distinctive preference of Perceiving over Judging (67%)

although i would say im much more intuitive than sensing

ESFP. 89% extroverted. I don't mind not being an introvert, I like being social with people a lot.

I am ESTP personally, If any of you want to take the quiz here it is:http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Sorry if the link was already posted.

Because it's newschoolers lol.

You're surprised that a bunch of mostly 12-25 year olds who hang out on nsg all day are a bunch of introverts?

I took the test and got ENTP with a 22% extraverted bias, however I don't truly consider myself an extravert. I like being around people, but I don't feel the need to be the center of attention.

I just took the test thinger and it said I'm actually INFJ. I still think I'm ISTP based on that previous diagram..

The forer effect makes it difficult for me to really gauge myself personally. I feel like I identify with both sides, but I'd like to say that I'm INTP. I always found it strange that I prefer to tweet at times of the least activity on twitter like late at night or in the morning.

May or may not have posted this above... But if you want to learn about your personality, what your strengths and weaknesses are, who you should date, etc then click yours.

BOOM!

ESTJ It's what I expected, I love performing, presenting and demonstrating infront of people. It gives me a buzz that's unparallel to anything else!

ENTP - The visionaries.

Ive changed since middle school though. I used to be an extreme introvert and i didn't talk to anybody. But now I want to talk to everyone. Its the weirdest thing

Yeah, I feel like people in this thread are relating to one thing in the video, and thinking they're introverts.

I'm definitely introverted.

i understand where you're coming from with being awkward when friends are talking haha

i'm just sitting there eating my frozen yogurt while everyone's chatting and after a half hour, i think: "hmm..maybe i should say something?...........nah, i'm good"

Did anyone else find yourself getting lost in the video because you were too intrigued by the drawings?

Haha it happened to me a few times and I had to rewind the video. It was a really cool video.

But on that list posted on the last page you choose from intro or extro, then sensing or intuition. So you could chose intro, then intuition, making it II. Am i missing something here?

It seems to me like people who drink alcohol are more extroverted and people who smoke weed are more introverted but that could just be a very broad stereotype

alcohol stimulates social interaction and is not very tight to do alone and pot stimulates your mind and lets you find extreme joy in your introverted activities without even thinking of wanting to be with people

this also is probably biased because im introverted, drink like twice a month, and vap everyday

also pot can bridge the gap and be an extremely social thing, when alchol bridges the gap and becomes an individual thing people get worried

I'm pretty sure I'm extroverted.

I think it's a lot easier to think of ourselves as introverted because we are always inside our own heads whereas we just see the social side of others
