Internet is killing skiing.

i don't think skiing, or park skiing would really even exist without the internet, especially this website. it helped expand skiing to a wider audience, get young kids who are inclined to use the internet get into skiing, and pretty much created amateur ski filmmaking - which is blowing up with talent right now, and linked an entire community of like minded individuals. it seems the author of this article wants to go back to the days of neon one pieces, granola clusters, and 210s. "fucking kids with the tips on the backs of their skis, sliding metal and skiing backwards - i bet they cant wiggle their ass down shitty moguls like when skiing was cool"

It does start out with "Yes it's ironic and totally hypocritical.."

But it's just not that funny. He should have been angrier and more obscene and called out a few prominent internet ski industry people and it would have been funny.

This is close enough to what I was going to say. the stereotype of today's lazy generation is somewhat accurate, but not in this respect, i don't know anybody who's heard of anybody that would rather watch edit after edit without any sense of an urge to visit those locations, hit those features, or slam dem ladies. wait wat

i dont think he was trolling, i think he's just another old isolated guy hating on the changing world and how much more fun we're having than he ever had. DAMN YOUNGBLOODS
