Internet gradually not working mac

Over the past week and a half I've noticed my internet is gradually deteriorating. I;ve had my macbook pro since 2009 and am wondering if something is wrong? Webpages are loading slower, if at all, and I constantly have to close/re-open browsers. I finally upgraded from leopard to mountain lion over a month ago, and it worked fine the first few weeks. Now I am getting annoyed and concerned. Anyone else have this happen and know any solutions?

safari web content gradually uses more memory on my machine until it's using 6gb of ram, and the rest of osx is using up almost all of the other ram so my system grinds to a halt. They claim that OSX is good at memory management and that safari only will use up as much memory as is avaliable. So if you do somthing else safari is supposed to instantly use less or some shit. Chrome gave me similar problems.

The best solution to your problem is quite easy. All you need is a usb memory stick. What you do is go to this site http://pearlinux.fr/download/ and follow the instructions.

If you do it correctly your macbook pro will essentially run like a new computer, and no one at the coffee shop will know it's an imposter.

Bro that's what you get for buying a Mac. Tey always crash. You should just ditch it and buy a Mac. Soooo much better. They never crash and last forever! It's so fast too!!!

me too except i'm on windows and from one day to the other my internet is shit! if i want to check notifications on facebook i need to close and reopen it like 4 times and same for NS and my email :/

wtf is up ?!

opening webpages on google chrome is now very much like trying to start a beat up diesel on a cold winter morning...

I was having a similar problem about a year ago and I just stopped using Safari and switched to Chrome and now I have no problem at all.
