So, basically, it's a plain and simple rip off of firefox. Tabbed browsing? Took them long enough. A quaint lil search bar at the top right of the page? Reminds me of something... "Bubbly" look on the forward and back buttons? RSS feeds? Holy crap! Security? Don't count on it...

The only thing i see is perhaps the printing... but i mean, come on...

Is this what microsoft has to resort to? complete rip offs of everyone else's stuff to keep competing? Vista is a total rip of mac osx in t e appearance and "new features", and now IE 7 a rip off of firefox, opera and safari?

Besides, you can have IE Tabs open in ff if you need it..
 
whats even funnier is that IE is a rip off of firefox which is a rip off of netscape. Firefox is my new one and only.
 
haha and look at the zune.. it reminds me of something apple made but i cant quite remember

 
Agreed. IE7 is pretty much just a rip off of Firefox, although it doesn't even come close to being as cool as the new Firefox 2.0. Extensions are the bomb and totally make Firefox

Karma is coming back to haunt Microsoft now. They pretty much destroyed Netscape when they started releasing windows with only IE. Now Netscape is back but on steroids ready to grab back some market share.
 
Don't get ie 7 if they are still only offering the beta. I had it a few months ago and it would always show errors and force itself to close if you had more than 1 tab open at a time, and if you tried opening a new page altogether it would do the same.
 
When i first got IE 7 it was cool, then i realized that it was completely dumb and defintely not woth it...at first ai was like where the hell is the file edit view tabs and they werent even there, then i didnt even like the favorites, and i couldnt find anything, from refresh to print. it was like wtf...So i just unistalled...and no still have IE 6 or sumtin that is much better

It was like TRITIOn...dumb until they come out with a real version
 
Im using it right now only because for some reason im way to lazy to get firefox right now. but it looks cool. And thats about it
 
wtf why are they making a new one there all the same you type something in your looking for results come up
