International Phone Calls

Ok so I am moving to London this summer for an internship next tuesday,and then to Norway for school in the fall. Is there like any super cheap ways out there to make international calls or stay in touch with people so I can call home or to my chick when im gone. Or am I stuck with e-mail and like phone card calls once a week?
 
Assuming u are from the US? Def expensive i even think a dollar the minute. But get ur laptop connected and use skype... Its easy and the connection is like 100% clear
 
yea i'm from Minnesota. Yea I was gonna look into Skype. Some other people told me about it. Like web cam or the internet phone calls?
