Interesting thing about atheists

God gave us free will as humans, free will to live our, choose wether to follow him or not and how to interpret both the new and the old testimant. If you notice as part of the new covenant between God and his people there are no set laws for what a Christian must do, one you become a Christian you are born again in Christ and thus and are filled with the holy spirit, you live in the spirit not in the law. (When Jesus died upon the cross he freed us from the law of old and God made a new covenant. ) It is for this reason (freedom from religious law) that Christianity is not a religion but a faith, as religion implies there are rules one must follow, where as faith implies having a trust in something or someone, we as Christians trust in Jesus

Here is my point about how Christians learn to trust/trust (grow in faith/have faith) in God

Me: God, can I ask You a question?

God: Sure

Me: Promise You won't get mad

... ... ... ... ...

God: I promise

Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do u mean?

Me: Well, I woke up late

God: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start

God: Okay

Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait

God: Huummm

Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call

God: All right

Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one

of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed):Okay

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I'm Sorry God

God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me.... in All things , the Good & the bad

You think you could beat Bill Maher in an argument about religion? You know one of his parents was jewish and the other was christian and he also made a movie about religion? Also he has a tv show that is based on arguments and discussions. You would get your ass handed to you

randomness implies an event can happens with no cause.

example soccer ball is on the penalty kick line and then all the sudden, before the soccer player kicks the ball, the ball decides to shoot and score itself.

then the soccer ball turns around to the soccer player and says yo bitch im a random soccer ball. you dont has to kicks me i kicks myself. bitch i aint need no fucking cause...... im random soccerball bitch!

no matter how small you get the reality is that we cant see the causes because the events causes are not detectable by humans, or that the events have tiny little brains and decide what they want to do.

yo remind me of this my lil brother who always wants to join into our conversations thinking he knows what we are talking about when he has no fucking clue what we were taking about

That's the thing though, how can you prove if there is no cause or if you just can't detect the cause? You can never say for sure which is the case.

wtf are you talking about?

1. Free will

2. "fate" or you seem to be implying supernatural influence

3. Randomness

You seem confused or sadly misinformed on how different belief groups view the above 3 topics. And you are jumbling all three together to justify your logic. Your logic is wrong.

1. Almost all mainstream religions and atheists believe in free will. And i defy you to find a legitimate source that states otherwise.

2. Most modern viewpoints of christianity (according to my former catholic high school teachers) do not believe in direct influence by a supernatural being, rather in more of an abstract and distant form.

3. Randomness...is not conversly related to supernatural influence. aka just because something is not random, does not imply that it is dictated by supernatural... as your logic seems to try to push
